My self-summary
What I'm actually lookin' for is someone who can help me road-test an arrangement my girlfriend and I are working out.
What I’m doing with my life
Keeping as many metaphorical plates spinning as possible; eating slightly more vegetables; playing music; updating the Dogblog (see below); adding to my book collection.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh. Reading quickly. Writing a decent song. Navigation.

Bonus skills: Cooking a decent meal. Dream descriptions. Liquor science.
The first things people usually notice about me
The sound of my voice. The cut of my jib. The stuff in my pockets.

Secret background: I’ve been called “the most interesting man on the internet.”
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I tend to re-read Imajica every year or so. I own almost all of Mary Roach's books. The death of Iain M. Banks was a serious blow to me. Mindy Kaling's book was surprisingly great; I haven't read Amy Poehler's yet.

I think Ratatat should stick exclusively to making hip hop instrumentals. The very latest Thom Yorke doesn't do a whole lot for me, but I keep it on my iPod anyway.

I liked Interstellar, but Big Hero 6 might've been my favorite movie of the last few months. I think Galaxy Quest might be a damn near perfect movie.

I keep a mental list of the places in the city that make a California burrito, and I can make my own chicken tikka masala, steak, or tomato sauce.

Honestly, if you're lookin' to internet-stalk me, start with about.me/ferociousj and go from there.
Six things I could never do without
* My friends
* My notebook
* Access to a violin or guitar
* The internet
* Sunlight
* Apple cider
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Names for fake bands. What would belong on my personal crest or emblem. How to get more costume parties on everyone’s calendars.
On a typical Friday night I am
Contemplating sleep briefly before going out to do something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've never used kumquats in a recipe, or even eaten one as far as I'm aware.
You should message me if
You're looking for some holiday season stress relief -- no strings, no ambiguity, just something to look back on and smile to yourself about quietly when nobody's lookin'.
The two of us
