My self-summary
"She feels in italics and thinks in CAPITALS."

I like a lot of geekish things and have a tendency to adopt short lived obsessions on things I think are curious - Anything ranging from Literature, to cooking, to Games or Culture/Languages - but I'll be honest it's mostly Books or Games.

For example I replayed Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines for the PC a bunch of times just to experiment with various storylines for diff. character clans. It can drive people batshit if they're watching me because I'm even WORSE with games like Mass Effect on X360 as I want to know all outcomes, but I know my obsessional-fuel won't last for several playthroughs of such a long game (why long? because I explore fucking EVERYTHING), so I'll save, or google (depending) and reload to try all the options until I find the one I like the most and do it... Not before I check the long term effects of said choice mind! I can't help it, I like to explore... just in a dementedly restrictive fashion.

CURRENT DEMENTED OBSESSION - The Walking Dead Video-Game on Xbox live arcade - As a point and click lover from yester-year, this game really ticks all the boxes for me... and it also occasionally gives me a seriously tough decision I literally have to sleep on the figure out. For example, I have ten people in my group and can only feed four - who do I chose? Brilliant character development and all the grizzly mayhem of The Walking Dead world - if you love your RPGs, you NEED this game!

Despite all this making me sound a little OCD on it, I assure you, I'm far too lazy to maintain my obsessions, so once I tire of them (which only takes a few weeks) I'm on to the next interest. Which takes a while to find, I'm rather picky and spend far too much of my free time horsing around with my troop O'Alco's and all that other distracting shit =P

tl;DR - If you know me, none of the above will be new 2 you! & If you don't, I'm surprised you read all of that, But in short I'm nice & friendly, & I LOVE meeting new people :D so feel free 2 send me a msg if you like!

I am Admiral Awesome, I'm also a novelty, and deeper than a puddle
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a spontaneous sort of person.... so in life at the moment I'm just pinballing around a number of my interests at leisure -

I enjoy creative writing. I write poetry and a few other bits and pieces. I only do a little prose, so only my poetry has been published so far!

In Belfast, occasionally show face at Poetry nights at the local Safehouse Art Gallery. I've been engaging in performance poetry for years as it's a lot of wine-fuelled fun!

I also love acting - most recently I was in "A message, a monologue, a rant and a pray" & HORRIBLE NOISE - The Life and times of Lester Bangs @ the Black Box earlier this year, and I've also starred in 3 Independent films which won me the honour of being a registered actor on imdb.com :D.

I fell in love with travelling in 2006 when I buggered off by my lonersome to Australia for a few months :D. I kinda got hooked :P... I did some pretty crazy fun stuff out there! I skydived from 12,000 ft AFF, Accelerated Free Fall (which is the first stage of training to be a skydiver - ie, not tandem!) & I learnt how to Scuba Dive(which is now my obsession and I have dived on both sides of Australia, Greece & am gearing up to do Egypt!)... and I'm trained up to the PADI Advanced Level Scuba Diving Certificate. I saw Cairns, Brisbane, Surfers Paradise, Sydney, Perth and Bumbry :D I got very, VERY drunk and met some really amazing people :D

I've also wandered around the UK, Ireland, France - most recently Paris, Amsterdam, Greece & Stockholm, Sweden since.

So I took a year out during my Post-Graduate studies in 2007/08, and did a bit more travelling again! But this time I settled a while on work placement :D in Nebraska, USA - I lived in Wahoo, Lincoln & Omaha so I had a gd bit of fun out there and discovered the amazingness of Walmart, Cheese-dip and how to live on Ramen for $5 a month!

(Note: American Chicken Ramen = the Devil's noodles)
I’m really good at
Finishing peoples sentences, or finding the right word
Debating! I do like an interesting debate :P
That or I'm pretty good at being pretty silly....

I'm also surprisingly good at understanding the unusual. I honestly believe that there are few experiences in life, across the wide and varying range of human emotion - no matter how crazy, ugly or scary - that I couldn't empathise with on some level. I also believe that my capacity to do it, is not unique - I think I just like it unlike most. :P
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, my bubbliness, and then my odd sense of humour.

If I've got it out, my Cheshire-Smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A)BOOKS -> Definitely 'Out' & 'Grotesque' by Natsuo Kirino which are FANTASTIC Japanese crime novels & also in crime 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'/'The girl who played with fire'/'The girl who kicked the hornets nest' some things are popular for a reason! "Point, Counter-Point" & "Brave New World" both by Aldous Huxley (could NOT put those down!), "Neuromancer" by William Gibson - funkadelic sci-fi :D, "The French Lieutenant's Woman" by John Fowles (Head melting fun!), "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte (Just because :D), "Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston, "The Wasteland and Other Poems" By T.S. Eliot & "Sleeping Dogs" (Australian Novel) by Sonya Hartnett

b) MOVIES -> "2046", "Perfect Blue", "L'Enfer", "Battle Royale", "Me Without You", "Water", "Circle of friends", "The Dreamers", "Stealing beauty", "Dangerous liaisons", "Strange Days", "NightWatch", "Total Recall", "Quills" (OMG so amazing!), "Equilibrium" and the most well loved of my collection; "Terminator", "Terminator 2".

c) MUSIC -> I love-love-love NIN! Skunk Anansie, Radiohead, Garbage - but only the first two albums really, Bush, Placebo, Queen, Bloc Party, Röyksopp, Lacuna Coil, some Foo Fighters... I also enjoy some classical stuff when I'm in the mood - mostly modern stuff tho.

Six things I could never do without
~*The Next Adventure*~!

My Mobile (I thrive on human contact :D)

My Passions for stuff - otherwise I'd get bored and be boring... Gotta let my curiosity outta it's cage to run wild on a regular basis!

The ability to communicate - love people :)

Sex - I know it's so stereotypical but it's true! I should also throw in a disclaimer at this point (since I realise that perhaps this has been a little misinterpreted by some...); Although I have a healthy libido, I mostly enjoy sex in a comfortable & creative environment with someone I have a good connection with. I'm not randomly promiscuous so please don't confuse my honesty as an underhanded way to find a one night wonder!

And Finally;

My Central Heating... NEVER take your central heating for granted!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Plotting out my next excursion into the global forum =D

Trying to find answers & make sense of the world .... I'm like a dog who's convinced there's a really good bone buried SOMEWHERE in the garden and spends many devoted hours to digging lots and lots of seemingly random holes.

Why people have commented so many times that my way of approaching things is incredibly obscure. Everything from how I prioritise to how I put things in the fridge, or keep two toothbrushes; one upstairs, one in the downstairs cloakroom (in case I'm running late! See? totally logical). I've never really understood why people find my processes so odd - to me they make the most amount of sense... my approach to the world is always totally, boringly logical in it's own way. Feels nice to be considered a bit different though!
On a typical Friday night I am
Most Friday's I'm at a friend's place for 'Bad movie night' which includes such classics as 'The Killer Condom' and the fantastic 'THE ROOM' - don't knock em til you've seen em!

Recently one of our friends insisted we try the Battlestar Galattica Board-game and, well, I never imagined that a board game could be so damn brilliant! This is now also a regular fixture in our weekend activities circulation. Although sometimes I worry we get a little too into it - death threats do tend to be issued with worrying regularity =P

Occasionally I will be found out at some random pub in Belfast... I'm not very fussy about which pub! Just as long as I can have a decent drink and can hear myself think, I'm in!

Alternatively I've curled up on a sofa with a big cup of tea, some friendly faces and some comedy quiz shows... I'm a bit of a sucker for 'Nevermind the Buzzcocks' or some alternative stand-up comedy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sex, drugs, and every stupid thing I've done drunk... honest :D

- My Personal recommendation? Test me, there's nothing private I won't admit!
You should message me if
You like someone who's fun, open, honest, like to connect with people and if you ever need a friend :)
