My self-summary
I think I am, therefore I am, I think...

(Because it's better than moaning about how much I hate talking about myself and how bad I am about filling these types of things out.)
What I’m doing with my life
So I've reached a point where I have my own place, my own car, a job, and pretty much all the basics. Now I'm looking to add to my life with the little things to make it all more enjoyable. Included in that is looking for someone to spend it with.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh. I have a great sense of humor, but you have to be paying attention and think quick to get all of it. Some jokes are obscure, some are corny or punny, but if you miss one, don't worry, there's more coming along.
(At last count, at least 8 jokes in the profile... can you find them all?)
The first things people usually notice about me
Very often, I'm the biggest guy in the room. 6'1" and broad, I'm pretty physically imposing, to some people, maybe even scary. Then you get to know me and find out I'm one of the most laid-back, easy going, nicest person you'll ever meet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My top 5 movies, in no particular order, but for various particular reasons are: The Princess Bride, Conan The Barbarian(1979), Sleepers, Dogma, and The Mist.

Some of my top books include The War Against the Chtorr series by David Gerrold, The Blackhearts Trilogy by Nathan Long, The Lost Swords series by Fred Saberhagen and many more...

Shows? I've done a lot of theatre, Dramas, Comedies, Musicals, Classical, and more. Just to cover some of the basics, the only shows I have full scores for currently are Les Miserables(Original London Cast), Avenue Q, and Into the Woods. And my favorite Shakespeare work is Macbeth (I even played him... twice.)

Music is all over the place. Unlike many people who use that description, my doesn't come with a qualifier (Like, "except rap" or "not country"). I have a wide variety of music, and in my ears, all of it is good.
Six things I could never do without
Putting aside essentials for survival (Air, food, water, Swedish pop music, shelter) I'm going to guess at:

Computer/internet (Friends and family are spread out.)
Anti-stress paraphernalia (no, not drugs, just various stuff to keep my blood pressure down.)
Laughter (See above.... although that makes the drugs denial sound weird.)
Imagination (Because reality is boring)
Books (I've always been a reader)
And Pasta (because its.... wait, I shouldn't have to explain this.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I am, where I want to be, what I need to do to get there, what I need to do to keep from slipping backward, what I actually want to do right at that moment, and what I can do about the fact that I could be hungry.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually wrapping up everything that needs to get done before the weekend. Having a weekend free is actually pretty rare for me, not for work, but for events and activities planned out ahead of time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
This is a really hard question, since what one person may see as deeply private, another might not give a second thought to. I'm not ashamed of the fact that I watch cartoons, own toys, and read comic books without trying to justify it as animation, collectibles and graphic novels respectively. Some people would think I'd be embarrassed by this, but to me, it's simply fact. I am who I am, and I won't pretend to be someone else, but I am willing to try to change.

But for the sake of giving a straight answer... I have a stuffed animal that still shares my bed.
You should message me if
I would put "If You want to." here, but that's so over done. So...

You should message me if...
... You're actually looking to interact with me.
... You want to meet someone new.
... You just want to chat.
... You understand that part of being a mature, reasonable adult means you don't always have to be mature and reasonable.
