My self-summary
I once tried to put my pants on two legs at a time, but rather discovered that I can't jump that high.

I recently received my masters degree from a school in Boston and managed to get a job that brought me back to my state of birth. Before this I was a bit of a nomad or gypsy, traveling from place to place during the summer as work popped up. I will say though that the past year in NOLA has been great and I have fallen more in love with this city than anywhere else I have had the chance to live. It's fun to see how the twists and turns in life take you to places that you least expect.

I love to do so many things from fishing on the lake to reading on the couch. Church fills up a good chunk of my time sometimes but I find that I get a lot of artistic and spiritual fulfillment from that. The rest of the time I am an at home chef, a bit of a fan boy, and a whole bunch of fun.

You could say that I am standing at a crossroad in life trying to pick a path because the scarecrow doesn't have a clue.
What I’m doing with my life
I just completed my Master's Degree at Boston University and managed to get a job with a company in New Orleans. I am working in the arts field in a way I never really expected in a city I never thought I would live in. Funny how God works that way, isn't it. Out side of work I am involved in the leadership of my Church to the point where they joke about sabotaging any attempt at leaving this city. Honestly I enjoy serving more than I do my actual job.
I’m really good at
I can build just about anything given enough time. I have also never run into a recipe I could not manage.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair and beard. I am a ginger of sorts though I am a bit better at handling sunlight than most. You can tell by my arms when I have been outside too long or welding without sleeves. SPF 50 for the win.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I will always be a Harry Potter fan and love Sci Fi and Fantasy Novels. Other favorites include The Count of Monte Christo, The Alchemist, The Neuromancer, and The Princess Bride. At the moment I am deep within Reason For God by Tim Keller.

TV: Doctor Who is probably my favorite show hands down. Beyond that, Sherlock, Top Gear, Big Bang Theory, Hell on Wheels, Game of Thrones, and Arrow fit into my taste along with some other guilty pleasures.

Music: I love music of all types and genres. I really like stuff that just sounds different or when the artist gets extremely honest and open with the listener. It just depends on my mood ya know.

Food: I love food. There is nothing that I won't try twice. That said I cook at least one big meal for myself a week. That generally consists of either Jambalaya, Pasta, Steak, Ribs, or just about anything else I can come up with or find in one of my cook books. You're welcome to join me if you like.

Video Games: Skyrim, Beyond Good and Evil, Final Fantasy VII/X/XII, Saboteur, Assassin's Creed Series, Brutal Legend, Stanley Parable, KOTOR, Borderlands…I think you get the picture.

Plays: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Mud, Wicked, She Fights Monsters, The Man Of La Mancha, The Lion King, and a number of others I can't think of right now. I've seen and worked on over a hundred shows in my life so it gets hard to keep them straight.
Six things I could never do without
Faith, Family, Friends, Air, Good Food, Music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I've been, where I'm headed, what is that noise my truck is making, is there such a thing as too much bacon...
On a typical Friday night I am
That's a good question, got any ideas?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I felt the biggest rush of victory and sting of regret when I took down a City Diner pancake by myself.
You should message me if
You really want to. You don't have anything to lose.
