I recently received my masters degree from a school in Boston and managed to get a job that brought me back to my state of birth. Before this I was a bit of a nomad or gypsy, traveling from place to place during the summer as work popped up. I will say though that the past year in NOLA has been great and I have fallen more in love with this city than anywhere else I have had the chance to live. It's fun to see how the twists and turns in life take you to places that you least expect.
I love to do so many things from fishing on the lake to reading on the couch. Church fills up a good chunk of my time sometimes but I find that I get a lot of artistic and spiritual fulfillment from that. The rest of the time I am an at home chef, a bit of a fan boy, and a whole bunch of fun.
You could say that I am standing at a crossroad in life trying to pick a path because the scarecrow doesn't have a clue.
TV: Doctor Who is probably my favorite show hands down. Beyond that, Sherlock, Top Gear, Big Bang Theory, Hell on Wheels, and Arrow fit into my taste along with some other guilty pleasures.
Music: I love music of all types and genres. That said I listen mostly to Christian music. I know your thinking that means the really hard to listen too stuff that drones on and on at some services and some radio stations but I am telling you that there is some awesome Christian Music out there. Check out Kings Kaleidoscope, Ocean is Theory, and Loud Harp for some really interesting sounds. When I do listen to secular music it ranges from country to rock. It just depends on my mood ya know.
Food: I love food. There is nothing that I won't try twice. That said I cook at least one big meal for myself a week. That generally consists of either Jambalaya, Pasta, Steak, Ribs, or just about anything else I can come up with or find in one of my cook books. You're welcome to join me if you like.
Video Games: Skyrim, Beyond Good and Evil, Final Fantasy VII/X/XII, Saboteur, Assassin's Creed Series, Brutal Legend, Stanley Parable, KOTOR, Borderlands…I think you get the picture.
