My self-summary
I find it pretty hard to talk about myself, I'm not that good in "sales talk", but here it goes... I live in Antwerp, in a small flat with a nice view over the setting sun! Working as an environmental consultant and in my free time I'm playing the guitar and from time to time, you can find me running around with my camera taking pictures or going for a good walk.
What I’m doing with my life
Figuring it out and enjoying it as much as I can... So far I found out that breathing and getting out in the sun are real dealbreakers. Also listening to music and going out and about with friends is a big help too.

What else do I do? I try to take a swim every week and go for an early walk somewhere around Antwerp, once every fortnight.
I’m really good at
Looking out the window, watching the stars and liking music. Listening to other people, editing this page and adding new stuff. Helping out friends, checking this site...

Oh, and I make a mean Long Island Ice Tea
The first things people usually notice about me
... Hard to say, I'm not "people" and I don't go running around asking what they feel when they see me. It would make me a bit creepy I guess... Hey, you tell me and maybe I can summarize it in here?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am a fan of (British) comedy. Recently discovered the fine comedy of Dylan Moran (and his Black Books).

As for music, I'd like to order a textbox on its own please! Very broad interest in music styles and bands. Kinda like "anything goes", but in the right setting and mood. And always looking to discover new genres and bands.

At home I like to relax and unwind with some loungy music such as Buddha Bar, Royksopp, Air, Zero 7, Minus 8, ... even some Tony Bennett and Nat King Cole (got to love the classics). I also like jazz (Charlie Mingus, Art Blakey, Big John Patton, Billy Holiday, ...). These styles represent most of my music collection.

Along the way I've collected quite a few vinyl singles and albums along the way. You just can't beat the sound of vinyl!! So the 60s, 70s rock, ballads, disco, ... whatevers are also in the liking!

Now some ACTUAL bands I like:
Zero 7, Air, Royksopp, Led Zeppelin, Rainbow, Deep Purple, Muse, Jimi Hendrix, My Chemical Romance, System of a Down, Beastie Boys, The Streets, Al Stewart, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Beatles, Weezer, Jamiroquai, Electric Light Orchestra, Vangelis, Sweet Coffee, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Daft Punk, Heideroosjes, Mike Oldfield, Quantic, Discobar Galaxie ...

... and certainly The War of the Worlds (70's version by Jeff Wayne)!

As for books, I read them not often enough. And the movies, I don't go that much (mainly because it's way overpriced nowadays).
Six things I could never do without
Aside from the logical life essentials...

The top six-list of (nearly) life essentials are:

- Friends
- Fries
- Laughter
- Music
- Nature
- Stars

Any order (being alphabetical, to taste or importance) is purely fictional.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'm going, what I'm doing, why... and how to get as far away as possible of it all...... in my mind
On a typical Friday night I am
What's this about? Fridays shouldn't be "typical", nor should every other day for that matter... So on a Friday night I might be up to some good, or some no good at all. Bu to be honest, mostly it's just some good, though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is that there are private things I might just admit... at the right time... in the right place... to the right person...
You should message me if
... you understand the words you've just read
