My self-summary
I'm fairly easy going and don't take life too seriously, that is until the hangriness sets in, then I might try and eat your arm.

A NY transplant that somehow managed to not get corralled into Cary. I work at a local hospital as a fellow in the windowless labs and really love what I do, though I'm working way more now than ever before. I also ride and race bikes a lot, like really a lot. I train 6 days a week and race most weekends, so it's important to me and something that I'm very dedicated about.

As mentioned, a fellowship brought me here, which means a more permanent job is going to take me away, and somewhat soon. I'm here until the summer of 2017 and figure being up front about that is best.

I am looking for something serious, even though I'm aware that an impending move complicates that possibility. I've been at this internet thing for longer than I'd like to admit, and honestly I'm not sure it works for me, but being as I work and ride as much as I do I'd like a way to meet people, so here I still am. I think starting with friendship is likely the best path for me, seems to be the most natural progression in the most unnatural of settings.

A few things I like: sunrises, waking up in a tent in the woods, the smell and sound of the ocean, spending time with the people I love, chocolate ice cream with chocolate everything on top, a dog's welcome home, staring at a clear sky in the middle of the night, speeding down the road on my bike, and that feeling of complete exhaustion after giving every ounce of energy I had to finish a ride or race.
