My self-summary
Recently moved to El Paso, at the behest of the Army.
What I’m doing with my life
I pilot flying umbrellas, obviously.

In my spare time though, I instruct foreign military/law enforcement personnel on weapons and explosives stockpile management and safe storage practices. Mostly in third-world countries, but occasionally in a place that has discovered the wonders of potable water and dependable electricity.

I could list the countries, but I'm not sure how much space is available...

Back by popular demand, the current "countries I've visited" list:

Argentina
Brazil
Ecuador
Paraguay
Honduras
Grenada
Barbados
St. Lucia
St. Maarten
Dominica
Puerto Rico
Suriname
Trinidad & Tobago
Kenya
Mali
Burkina Faso
Sierra Leone
Burundi
Ghana
UAE
Qatar
Kuwait
Afghanistan
Kyrgyzstan
Bangladesh
Ireland
England
Germany
Belgium
Switzerland
Austria
France
Croatia
and of course... these United States
I’m really good at
Not crashing the umbrellas. (At least so far.)

I also have naturally perfect eyebrows, and am reasonably intelligent.
The first things people usually notice about me
Good question... I will begin taking a poll immediately!

Dear reader: What is the first thing you notice about me?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Read too many during school; got burnt out. Don't even have one of those iKindlepad things.

Movies - I see all the new releases on the tiny seatback screens of commercial jetliners. As long as it isn't Rob Cohen, I'm usually OK with it.

Shows - Sports, sitcoms, educational, drama, reruns, etc. Basically anything but those awful and obviously contrived "reality" shows on the "History" channel. The Big Bang Theory does deserve special mention.

Music - Eclectic. (Not to be confused with electric.) Mostly blues, jazz, some classical, basically anything moving that hasn't been ruined by DRC.

Food - Love me some food. I've even been known to cook it from time to time... Some say I'm quite skilled in this area, but I won't toot my own horn.
The six things I could never do without
Do I only get to pick six? I saw someone else that had at least eight listed. Shenanigans!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...why people live in the city voluntarily.
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying the comforts afforded me simply by being born in these United States. Unless of course, I'm in another country. In which case I'm missing them.

I suppose I also have to count "wishing I was on the beach," because I don't get there NEARLY enough.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
...doesn't belong on the internet.
You should message me if
...you too enjoy and/or are skilled in the navigation of airborne personal weather canopies.
