My self-summary
I consider myself exceptionally clever, and love making people laugh, either at me, themselves, or others. These descriptions rarely give a good idea of what a person is actually like, but honestly, I'm just a guy that wants to meet somebody challenging to keep laughing.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I'm doing recruiting for an incredible game company and exploring the bay area slowly. When I'm not at work, I'm playing games or hanging out with friends. I'm here to add somebody new to that routine.
I’m really good at
All kinds of games. Video, board, card, word, logic, head, etc. Any kind of game really gets me interested and excited. I just like having to think quickly and be clever or strategic.
The first things people usually notice about me
Usually it's my stoicism or that people around me are laughing. Great sense of humor, just not really expressive.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite book is House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. I could eat Basil Fried Rice from Titaya's every day forever, I enjoy Arrested Development more than I should, and have a sick penchant for a Fox Reality Channel Original Series called Solitary. Two Door Cinema Club is my favorite band I think right now, alongside Vampire Weekend and Radiohead. There. This seems obligatory for any profile.
Six things I could never do without
Internet, somebody nearby to get a reference, Scott Pilgrim, water, Buffalo Wild Wings spicy garlic sauce, and crossword puzzles.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
making a joke or play on words. Also I think a lot about marketing and video games. Because those are the coolest things to list for strangers to read about and be interested in. Duh.
On a typical Friday night I am
working or hanging out with my roommate or other friends. I would rather get a beer at a local bar or play board games or see a show or movie than go out. Just isn't really fun when you have dry humor and your voice doesn't carry past your nose. Yelling sarcastic comments at strangers usually fares pretty poorly. :P
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm literally terrified of chalk.
You should message me if
you read through all of this and didn't mind how nerdy I seem.
