My self-summary
I've been in Halifax for about a year and a half. I love discovering new places, going on new adventures, catching the latest films at the cinema, watching Netflix, and generally nerding out. Looking for someone similar, sans the beard.
What I’m doing with my life
I started cycling again last summer so that I can stay fit and explore Halifax further than my own legs could take me otherwise. Currently waiting for the summer to return so that I can get back out there. I do miss driving and riding a motorcycle, but being on the opposite side of the road is far scarier than you'd think.

I also help look after a couple of kids every now and then and volunteer some of my time working with a mental health awareness committee.
I’m really good at
Forgetting that some British terms don't necessarily translate well into Canadian, resulting in either confusion and/or mockery.
The first things people usually notice about me
My accent tends to be the most obvious one.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
When it comes to books, I generally prefer reading non-fiction. And sometimes fictional non-fiction. Non-fictional fiction confuses me though.

I'm a sucker for good Sci-Fi, comedies and Superhero movies, amongst other more serious films/shows. Ultimately, far too many to list, but my favourite movie is easily Back to the Future and I'm a huge fan of Pixar.

Favourite food is always going to involve a long list [of primarily non-vegetarian options and cake], but I do miss popping out for a cheeky Nandos. If there's one thing that I miss most from back home, it's that.
On a typical Friday night I am
going with the Friday feeling!! Whether it's hanging out with friends, going to the cinema, playing at the Boardroom or dancing the night away. Once the summer hits I love to go exploring, dine out, go on picnics, look for adventures to be had... and during the winter months there's nothing quite like curling up with someone on the sofa (DUVET DAY!!) whilst enjoying their company and forgetting that the world exists for a while.
You should message me if
you harbour a secret love for nerds or are a bit geeky yourself and wish to embark on new adventures together.
