My self-summary
I'm a major geek.
I work in IT.

I love music and movies and try to get as much of that in as I can.

Would love to have a cabin in the middle of nowhere to run away to now and again.

Pretty politically incorrect but only really intolerant to intolerance :)

Ready to define my life as something other than just work again.

I don't play mind games and I don't deal with them well.

Moved around a lot.
2 continents.
3 countries.
11 cities.
14 schools.
22 jobs.
What I’m doing with my life
I spent most of my life keeping computers alive for a law firm.
And yes. I actually do have ethical issues with that.
I’m really good at
Overcomplicating things.
Breaking down complex problems and dissecting them.
Start over.

Being a shoulder to cry on our someone to vent to.
Word of warning though. I'm always honest even if what I have to say isn't necessarily unicorns and rainbows.
The first things people usually notice about me
Politically incorrect.
Full of really pointless trivia :)
I work way too much.
Somehow people always seem surprised that I have something intelligent to say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
mmmm steak :)
Really though. I'm pretty flexible and not picky at all.

Aliens :)
I love me some James Cameron. Dude knows how to tell a story.
Pulp fiction.
Sci-fi and fantasy.

Used to have my own dedicated home theater and really wanna set it up again.
I love movies.

Used to read a lot. Primarily sci-fi and fantasy.
Just don't have the time for it anymore.

I love music.
It's been a huge part of me my whole life. Even used to work as a sound engineer.
Not much music that I cannot listen to. As long as it speaks to me in some way I'm good.
Been rekindling my love for doom metal lately though :)
Six things I could never do without
My kids.
My friends.
A car (going on the assumption that I live here).
Air condition (again going on the assumption that I live here).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to create perfect systems out of imperfect parts.
Striking a balance between work and life.
Where I want my life to go.
If I'm doing the right thing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working or at home watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was 16 I hurt someone's feelings by giving in to perceived popular opinion.
Decided that day never to let group think sway me again and always stand for what I believe.

My self professed commie roommate used to tell me, in all seriousness I might add, that I would be the first into the re-socialization camp after the revolution as I was too dangerous to have around.
You should message me if
Something piqued your interest or you just wanna see what I'm about.
