Though I haven't yet died, I've also come close a couple times (see attached photo). Though I haven't yet been married, I mulled it over once (please be gentle with my battered yet emboldened heart). Along all along the dips and zeniths of the rollercoaster that is life, I've taken in what one ought to learn from those extremes, and enjoyed the contentedness as well as the blessings in between.
In regards to being on this nifty lil' website, what I have to offer and what you can expect- I'm a pretty go-with-the-flow fella. If you're looking for a bloke to meet the folks, or just up for some jokes and a poke, it'd be just peachy to see if we might be pals in one way or another.
If everything goes according to plan, I'll retire young enough and drive around all day volunteering for Meals on Wheels.
I'm also 'good at' Kant's sense of 'duty', which any gentleman of merit ought to exude; such as getting doors for strangers, being courteous, tipping well, and most perhaps important - understanding how to properly travel in the left and the right lanes of a roadway.
Movies - The Game, UP!, Double Jeopardy, approximately 3 minutes of all the Fast n' Furious movies combined. Several Bill Murray masterpieces.
Shows - Seinfeld, The Practice, Boston Legal, Top Gear, Fifth Gear, Judge Judy, Inside West Coast Customs, COPS, The Phantom of the Opera (just thought I'd throw that in there for you classy broads). I've also been curriculum-conspired to see a fair bit of live theatre shows, which is truly enchanting!
Music - Yes indeed. I prance around several genres. My personal collection is composed of eclectic delights such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, DMX, Carmina Burana, Depeche Mode... hell, even an Armin Van Buren trance re-mix of Like a Prayer by Madonna.
Food - Yes. All of it.
- The courage to change the things I can
- The serenity to accept the things I can't
- The wisdom to know the difference
In other thoughts, I'm itching to put half my savings into an E-Trade account and become the financial maven my finance professor said I would be.
Tee hee! Hope you enjoyed the nifty Big Pun interlude.
My Fridays are considerably less adventurous, as I am usually working. Pretty much anyone I used to kick it with is at home with offspring and a wife anyways.
