My self-summary
Looking for a nice guy. Genuinely nice. I'm quite nice too. So are all my friends. Nice people.

I'm interested in the world and in learning new things. My free time is spent with friends, often in the theatre or visiting art exhibitions. I prefer pubs and restaurants to clubs. I'm not camp, nor am I remotely interested in the "gay scene".

I'm fairly stable, confident and level-headed. But I do like my life to be unpredictable and often it pans out like a farce; a funny one, not a sinister one. People say I'm funny. Funny like a comedian or funny like an oddball they've never clarified, but I do enjoy laughing and people tend to do it with me.

Interests include theatre, literature, politics, good conversation and ideas generally. If you are interesting, intelligent, nice (obv) and enjoy exploring things and having fun I'm sure we will get on very well.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently a full time tutor of English Literature and History, but also doing my law qualifications on the side. I started out as a Biological Anthropologist but then went to work in the theatre as an Actor/Director and most of my friends are in this world. When I am hopelessly over-qualified, I will probably go back to the theatre.
I’m really good at
Talking about a wide variety of subjects, dealing with naughty teenagers, making fajitas and cuddling.
The first things people usually notice about me
Beard? Smile? They are the things that get commented on most so I'm guessing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love books and have bought more than I think it is possible to read in a lifetime.

I like movies with a bit of a brain so off to the local arts picturehouse for me. Points for subtitles.

I'm woefully ignorant about music. I do enjoy it, so feel free to teach me. I will probably forget it all though.

Happy to try all food and love a new restaurant to experience.
The six things I could never do without
Good friends
Good theatre
My dog
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What book I should write to make my fortune. That I should probably drink less/work out more. That I need to get back into the theatre. My dog.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most likely in a pub with good friends or drinking some wine at a dinner party. I also go to the theatre a lot but you never get good tkts on a Friday!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Nothing. If it's on here it's already public. But I'm not closed so I'll probably tell you anyway.
You should message me if
You're a nice guy who enjoys similar things to me. You don't have to be gorgeous or buff; intelligence and a good sense of humour are worth much more to me.

If you can be attracted to occupations I fancy: Theatre people, Doctors, Journalists, Veterinarians, Academics, Lawyers and generally intelligent, humanitarian, creative types.

I do not fancy: Management consultants or investment bankers.

I get very bored of guys who can only talk about being gay. If you've got nothing else going on in your life to talk about then I'm sorry but I'm not interested.
