My self-summary
I'm enthusiastic, opinionated and giggly.

I like to surround myself with positive, funny people who also agree that happiness is a way of life rather than an end goal. But equally, I don't shy away from a good rant as I am french after all and have a reputation to uphold.
What I’m doing with my life
I work stress free jobs to pay rent.
I'm an active member of Sunday Assembly
Jazz singer.
Literature and film nut.
My flatmates and I have netflix binging down to a fine art and have no qualms about it.
I like to go on solo spanish breaks when I can afford to, which is not often enough quite frankly.
I’m really good at
I reckon I qualify as one of those people some might brand as "sound".
The first things people usually notice about me
My French/Teesside/Queen's English hybrid of an accent.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
If someone disagrees with me on the following it really doesn't matter. But I like sharing recommendations!

Love in the Time of Cholera, The Wheel of Time, Cyrano de Bergerac, Ham on Rye, Oryx & Crake, East of Eden, La Délicatesse, Fahrenheit 451, The Stand, Watchmen, Habibi. Just finished Les Misérables (it's great) and now I'm on It before the new film comes out.

Interstellar, Midnight in Paris, The 5th Element, Perfume, the Before trilogy, Lord of the Rings, all of De Funès and I'm in love with Gregory Peck.

Peep Show, The Wire, Arrested Development, The Office, Girls, Mr Robot. I think BOJACK HORSEMAN is important television.

Goldfrapp, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Kimbra, Snarky Puppy, Zero 7, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Mouserat... I am the apostle of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan.

I've recently discovered Betty Carter and she was the bee's knees:

Shostakovich, Schubert, Britten, Debussy, Purcell.

I don't like fennel, celery and prunes. I love eating everything else.

Rum ham.
Six things I could never do without
My freedom of speech. Thank fuck for that.

A great meal and a nice glass of wine to go with it.

A book or four.

My 5 senses.

Having a passionate debate with my mates.

A SENSE OF HUMOUR good lord the world is bonkers, better to laugh than cry.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"La vie, voyez-vous, ça n'est jamais si bon ni si mauvais qu'on croit."

On a lighter note, why do I not get the option to tell you about the most private thing I'm willing to admit? I've got some doozies!
On a typical Friday night I am
Forgive me Father, not for what I have done but for what I am about to do.
You should message me if
it's me you're looking for.
