My self-summary
I'm enthusiastic, opinionated and giggly. I like to surround myself with positive, funny people who also agree that happiness is a way of life rather than an end goal.

I have taken myself out of the rat race which has changed my life for the better and now I'm enjoying London more than ever before!

I'd love to share some good moments with someone special, but in the meantime I'm collecting a nice array of stories to tell over a bottle of wine.
What I’m doing with my life
I've just navigated my quarter-life crisis. I now have a part-time job at an international development charity and spend the rest of my time working on my singin' and doing cool things.
The first things people usually notice about me
My French/Teesside/Queen's English hybrid of an accent.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
If someone disagrees with me on the following it really doesn't matter. But I like sharing recommendations!

Love in the Time of Cholera, The Wheel of Time, Cyrano de Bergerac, Ham on Rye, Oryx & Crake, East of Eden, La Délicatesse, Fahrenheit 451, The Stand, Watchmen, Habibi.

Interstellar, Midnight in Paris, The 5th Element, Perfume, the Before trilogy, Lord of the Rings, all of De Funès and I'm in love with Gregory Peck.

Peep Show, The Wire, Arrested Development, The Office, Girls, Mr Robot, all the Netflix produced ones... I now love TV series more than films.

Goldfrapp, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Kimbra, Zero 7, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Mouserat... I am the apostle of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan.

Shostakovich, Schubert, Britten, Debussy, Purcell.

I don't like fennel, celery and prunes. I love eating everything else.

Rum ham.
The six things I could never do without
My freedom of speech. Thank fuck for that.

A great meal and a nice glass of wine to go with it.

A book or four.

My 5 senses.

Having a passionate debate with my mates.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
"La vie, voyez-vous, ça n'est jamais si bon ni si mauvais qu'on croit."

On a lighter note, why do I not get the option to tell you about the most private thing I'm willing to admit? I've got some doozies!
On a typical Friday night I am
Forgive me Father, not for what I have done but for what I am about to do.
You should message me if
it's me you're looking for.
