My self-summary
My name is Brian and I am a SAN Admin at IBM in Boulder as well as a member of a few car-clubs.

I love driving, music, and laughter.
What I’m doing with my life
Starting a car restoration project on a 1972 Dodge Charger. She's been in the family for a while, and I cannot wait to get her up and going. Along with that, I intend to get my 1980 Honda CX500 Motorcycle back up and running.

On my "BIG LIST OF STUFF TO DO": I want to learn German, and then travel to Germany and drive on the mother-of-all-freeways. The Autobahn is the Holy Grail of driving for me, and I would love to, one day, scream along it as fast as possible.
I’m really good at
Listening, Problem Solving, and combining the two. I can be fun and games until a problem arises. At which point, I buckle down and do what I can to resolve the issue.

My Myers-Briggs tests consistently come back as INTJ/INFJ, so listening is one of those things I do especially well.

Games. Though it has been a while, I love playing games like Chess and Risk, as well as video games like StarCraft and Civilization.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read books by Jim Butcher, Kay Kenyon, Michael Chrichton, George Orwell, E.E. Knight, Tolkien, anything Star Wars or Star Trek, The Chronicles of Narnia, Eragon, Bernard Cornwell, and others that I am sure I have forgotten to mention.

Burn Notice, Numb3rs, Law And Order (any of them), NCIS, and the like. I also enjoy the later Star Trek series, though I find the original movies appealing as well.

I am not a fan of slasher and other 'blood for blood's sake' movies types. I can watch pretty much anything else.
The six things I could never do without
Family
Pets
Driving
Food
Friends
Caffeine
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually home, winding down after a long week. Occasionally I can be found going to my family's homes to spend time with them, or hanging out with friends from work. But nothing really says "Friday Night" more than a cold drink on the patio with an e-book in my hand and the sun setting behind the mountains.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I still play with my childhood Legos.
You should message me if
you enjoy good conversation, laughing, and meeting someone who enjoys the same. I'm an intelligent, geeky guy, and I'm looking to meet people who enjoy interacting with such a person.

I'm quick-witted and humourous; I love to make jokes. But I can be serious when the situation warrants it, and respect the difference.
