My self-summary
I'm just some guy, ya’ know?

Warning: I have written way too much.

I'm a dependable, occasionally excitable guy who is well grounded with a good direction in life. I'm honest and, if you earn it, incredibly loyal.
I'm often sarcastic and while that turns some people off I couldn't live without my sarcasm and a bit of witty banter.
I can be incredibly professional and collected when I need to be, and silly and laid back when I want to be.
I run (far), eat (often) , and play guitar (loud), generally in that order.
I'm a US Army Veteran but that part of my life is behind me.
I'm having fun trying to keep myself busy, learning new things and meeting new people. I've been in the area for a few years now as I am an engineer nearby. Great job, I love the work, the challenge and seeing my accomplishments in action.
Meet some people, try new things, explore and maybe some personal reinvention.
Who knows what the future holds?
I have a great life, great job, great home, great car and great friends. I'm always looking to add to it though!

What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently building a Race Car in my garage with my free time so with any luck ill be tearing up the streets come summer. (See pics)

I actually just bought a house in Saratoga Springs, so that is a big part of what I'm doing right now.

I'm a Senior Factory Automation (robotics) Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES in Malta NY.
I graduated with my Master's degree in Engineering a few years ago, moved from my college town and am just bought a house in Saratoga Springs. Moving, settling in, exploring the area and training for a marathon in my free time.

I own four guitars and play quite often, and had a weekly gig up in Lake George playing acoustic sets or open mike nights in Saratoga. I sing, play guitar and harmonica, so I kinda have a Bob Dylan thing going which I like.

When I'm not at work, running, reading, playing guitar or watching netflix, I spend time in front of my computer or just keeping my mind busy.

I also rock climb in Halfmoon. My friend got me into it, terrifying at first but so invigorating.
I’m really good at
Playing guitar (singer songwriter styln')
Fantasy Football
Running wayyyyy too far.
Solving Rubix Cubes
Slow Cooking and Grilling (pulled pork and Chili)
Finding Stupid youtube videos
Mixing a Martini
Bad story telling
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm confidant, always willing to discuss anything, and sometimes I don't know when to shut my mouth.

People tell me i have an accent..... I don't. I think....

My speech patterns?
My beard?
I don't know.... I've never really asked someone.
Can someone please tell me?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Italian food, BBQ, home cooking, comfort food.
Some Personal Favorites include a nice rare steak, veal parm, grandma's homemade Mac and Cheese, Pulled pork and my personal 5 alarm Chili. I will never turn something away because it is "too spicy".

102.7 WEQX! Classic Rock, alternative, Folk. Dylan to The Flaming Lips, Johnny Cash to Primus and plenty more. No Rap, No Top 40 and no modern Country. The new Daft Punk Album has rocked my socks off.

I love my kindle but it will never replace a real "analog" book.
Six things I could never do without
The Internet and the wacky people that fill it.
Holding someone and being held.
Sun on my face and grass on my toes.
A long shower after a longer run.
Beer, red wine and Whiskey (That's only one)
Adrenaline. (be it from the roar of an engine or a first kiss)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Escape plans in case of a zombie Apocalypse. Or just planning ahead day to day. Nothing ever goes to plan but I still find myself trying.

The Ultimate Question. I know the answer is 42, so that's a start.
On a typical Friday night I am
Looking for fun, either out and about, or in with booze, movies and friends. Sometimes just with a box of cookies and a good book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am the worst typist and speller you will ever meet.
I would have failed out of college without auto-correct and spell check.
You should message me if
You can relate.
You are looking for new things, if you can talk nerdy and if you are tired of waiting for life to get better and are committed to making it better.
Also you shouldn't be afraid of a conversation turning into a friendly argument/debate. Speak your mind, let's share a beer and a chat.

I like a woman who knows what she wants and goes out and gets it, doubly so if that thing is me.
