At my core, I am just a simple kind of guy. I know I know it sounds cliche, but it is honestly the best way I can sum myself up. I don't really drink, I definitely don't smoke, and am in no hurry to ruin my body with really crappy chemicals that just doesn't lead to a pleasant end.
I am most definitely a homebody, no two ways about it. Give me a good book, warm company, and I will be just peaches for the whole day. That isn't to say though that I am not active oh no. I take extremely long walks in the morning (usually) and play football with my friends on the weekend.
I also like the geekier things in life: Video Games, Card games like Magic the Gathering, Books, Comic, even some Manga and Anime. I love talking about story development, character development, all of the things that make story telling great and is my main drive to one day becoming a writer across different entertainment mediums.
Ultimately though, I'm just looking to have a good time and a decent life like everyone else in the world. No complications, no drama, just something nice.
People like to post little challenges about filling in a line from movies to showcase your movie/game/tv show geek cred. I happen to find that interesting so I have a little one of my own.
Send a note to me, if you would please, completing the first part of this line: "....I am a stranger traveling from the West, it is I whom you seek."
Bonus points for movie referenced!
College wasn't really working out for me, so I have decided to enlist in the Job Corps center in LA to study to become an electrician of some kind. My goal of being a writer hasn't changed, but the path I am taking has.
I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, suspense, thriller, some horror, and action movies as well as tv shows. Some examples are Doctor Who, Firefly, Heroes, NCIS, CSI, 48 hours, and some cartoon shows like Batman or Green Lantern.
Im generally pretty open to music except for many forms of country and rap. I just can't get into them.
I've been pushing myself in to trying new dishes and foods when I can and I have to say my palette is getting very expansive. I'm always up for trying new things now, but I just can't say no to a good pizza.
