My self-summary
I'm Aaron, and I'm a Game Master at Breakout Birmingham. I am a geek. I'm pretty easy-going. I can be stubborn, but I at least try to see things from other people's perspective. I love graphic t-shirts. I have quite a few. Some people get tattoos of their favorite things, I buy t-shirts.

I spend some of my free time Hashing. It's a fun way to exercise and socialize. It's "a drinking club with a running problem". I also spend some of my free time playing video games and exploring my creativity.

I love humor, especially absurdist humor. Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, Tim & Eric, and Zach Galifianakis are all good examples of absurdist humor. I also enjoy British humor, like Monty Python, The Mighty Boosh, Jimmy Carr, an Top Gear.
What I’m doing with my life
Creating cool things. Trying to find that happy medium between work and play. Working on my degree.
I’m really good at
DIY Household stuff, making stuff with wood, and being creative. I am currently making my own Halo armor. I like playing video games, and I think I'm pretty good at it. I'm also pretty good at riffing movies MST3k-style.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height. I once had an old woman on the subway in NYC tell me I have beautiful legs. It was weird.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Deadpool graphic novels, House of Leaves (seriously, read it) The Passage, The Twelve, any of the Dirk Pitt novels, The Halo Encyclopedia, the book versions of web comics and blogs (XKCD, Saturday Morning Breakfast Serial, Garfield Minus Garfield, The Interne t is a Playground), books of useful and useless facts, and the Pocket Reference.

I like a LOT of movies. My favorites are psychological thrillers (like stuff by David Lynch and David Fincher) and horror. I like a lot of the classics like The Shining, The Pink Panther (with Peter Sellers), as well as stuff like the Jason Bourne Series. I like Lord of the Ring and Star Wars, and I own a copy of the Weird Al move UHF. I also have a guilty pleasure of watching over-the-top Japanese gore movies. They are overly violent, but so fake it's funny.

TV: Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Workaholics, Community, Game of Thrones, Fringe, Warehouse 13, Girls, The Ricky Gervais Show, Frisky Dingo, Top Gear (UK), Lost, Dexter, Weeds, House, Futurama, 30Rock, Venture Bros, MST3K (Space Mutiny and The Final Sacrifice being two of my absolute favorites), X-Files, and pretty much anything produced/written by Dave Willis. Also pretty much anything by Tim & Eric. I like a lot more TV shows, so if you want to know if I like a certain show, just ask.

Music: Mostly rock. Chevelle, Foo Fighters, Sick Puppies, stuff like that. I also frequently listen to Dubstep, mostly UK artists, like Flux Pavillion and Nero. I do have eclectic tastes in music, so I can be found listening to a wide variety. For example: I have Mastadon, Hanson, and Boston on my iPod. Don't hate on Hanson. They are talented.

Food: Anything, as long as its not grotesquely bad for me, or horrendously spicy. I have to confess I did order the The Coronary Bypass at The Vortex in Atlanta. I could only finish half of it.
I also love trying new and different kinds of beer. Beer is food, right?

Video games: First of all: The Halo Series. Not just the games (minus Halo Wars, not much of an RTS fan) but the suplemental material as well (the books, cosplay, etc.). I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with Halo; in fact I spend very little of my time on Halo-related things. Being an introvert, Playing Halo in middle school allowed me friendships and social interactions (and acceptance) that I would otherwise have not experienced, so it means a great deal to me. Minecraft, most Valve Games, and Modern Warfare. I also like the classics like Tetris and Super Mario.
Six things I could never do without
1. Friends
2. A shower at least once a day. (Barring I get stranded in the wilderness.)
3. The Internet
4. Freedom
5. TP
6. Health Insurance
7. A good sharp knife. Always useful. Not in a Dexter kind of way but in a "blister packs are impossible to open" kind of way.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How awesome the future is going to be technology-wise. I also think about where I am going to be in 5 to 10 years.
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying a beer at one of the many fine establishments here in Birmingham with Some friends Or playing tabletop boardgames.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I own a Greenman costume (aka a bright green, full body lycra suit.)
You should message me if
You are female.
You are nerdy.
You don't have kids.
You don't use heroin or cocaine. Meth is ok (just kidding).
You don't have any STDs.
You don't have facial hair.

Things I find awesome, but are not requirements:
You can properly handle power tools. I find that attractive.
You can quote Arrested Development, Frisky Dingo, It's Always Sunny, Kung Pow, or UHF.
