My self-summary
Please read my entire self-summary and only contact me if you live in L.A. County, California, U.S.A. and specifically the Hollywood / West Hollywood area location, or no further than about a 5-mile adjacent radius, via surface streets. I'm seeking an easy going, humorous, honest, compassionate companion and nearby neighbor, or -- in other words -- someone who lives in my immediate vicinity, with whom to engage in athletic, intellectual and romantic pursuits. I like taking leisurely strolls around town, hiking, shooting pool and playing tennis, etc. Plummer Park, Runyon Canyon and Barney's Beanery are all very close-by, so that's why it's my aim to find someone equally near to these sites to enjoy them with me. 😎

My work, as a freelance photojournalist, has taken me on many fascinating adventures. I was, also, a nightclub singer - in Chicago - back in the day and some of my work is featured on SoundCloud:

I'm semi-retired, now, and not into the bar scene, or being "set up" by well-meaning friends, so am hoping to find a mate via this venue. For mutual attraction purposes please have at least one recent picture posted, be 59 to around 70, Unattached and have no relatives or roommates permanently living with you. Please be a non-cigarette smoker (occasional 420 is okay) and stand 5'9" or taller (I adore looking up to my mate, both literally and figuratively). Oh and No bisexuals, please. Kindly respect my criteria and refrain from messaging me if you don't meet it. Thanks!
What I’m doing with my life
Well, let me see now, my life -at this stage- is one of ongoing self discovery. I needn't answer to anyone, as I'm my own boss, which is a freedom earned after many trials & tribulations.
I’m really good at
...being myself. I'm the nurturing type, who takes good care of her mate, always endeavoring to make him happy. I've been a widow, for several years now, but previously enjoyed a successful 27 year marital track record...
The first things people usually notice about me
...are my laughing eyes and warm, sweet smile...
Also, I look like my photos. Please look like yours, too. The pictures with the pixie-cut hair style directly reflects my appearance. The one wearing a bobbed cut is not recent, nor are the ones in the little black dress, but I haven't changed too much since they were taken. Staying fit, living an active, healthy lifestyle, without much alcohol and no tobacco, apparently has its advantages... ♪★♫

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My life is an open book and I don't regard anything as all that private, especially, once I get to know and trust someone enough to talk about myself with them.
You should message me if meet my basic criteria, outlined in the self-summary section and are seeking a casual friendship that may, when built upon mutual truth / trust, blossom into something more intimate. No pressure should be involved. You'd be inclined to agree that things should develop naturally and nothing should ever be forced or rushed... As the late, great Mae West once said: "Anything worth doing is worth doing slowly." 😉
