My self-summary
I have described myself as the most successfully single guy that I know. I do know that this is not better than being in a terrific relationship, but it is infinately better than being in a bad relationship. I am an active 64 year old who hasn't a clue what most people in their 60's do. I have always been surrounded by younger people. I have raised my two boys, who lost their mom to breast cancer when they were 6 and 8 years old. I love life, not into playing games, and I still think, as always I have, that there is yet one more adventure left in store for me.

I am a rebel, not needy, and very upbeat
What I’m doing with my life
I work. I paint F-16's at the airbase, I go to my cabin and play on the water whenever I can, in either of my kayaks. I like to camp in the desert, ride 4-wheelers, snowmobiles, uh, sold my Harley last fall, so that's out. I said I was a rebel. Everyone and their cat has a Harley nowadays, and most riders are a hazard on the road.

It may be possible for me to get retired next Summer. I am shooting for it.

It is here. I am now retired. Woo Hoo. Maybe now I can clean my house. Ugh.
I’m really good at
Give me a pile of wood, and I will build whatever you want. I hate mechanics. I built the log cabin that I own, including doing all of the electrical, and most of the plumbing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have been told, recently, that I am handsome, and sexy. Well, I feel a bit uncomfortable saying that, and I only need to be looked upon that way by the certain female companion who may one day share the rest of her life with me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read all the time. Clive Cussler, Dan Brown, all sorts of stuff. I watch movies infrequently. I used to bring rental movies up to the cabin, and 9 out of 10 I brought back unwatched. Too much time in front of the TV for me is about half an hour.

Well, OK, now that I am retired, I watch a bit more. I love to laugh, and have just recently discovered the sitcom 'Two and Half Men.' It is hilarious, and I don't know how they get all that they say past the censors. Also, the following show, 'THe Big Bang Theory,' is also a crack up.
Six things I could never do without
If I say my kids, does that count as one? My grandkids, friends, my Spirituality, my sisters, oh, don't judge me, the 6th thing would be a really cold Bud Light.

What about the 6 things that I COULD do without?

Federal taxes

State taxes

Income taxes

I know, I know, someones gotta pay for all the stuff the country needs, but after working for 50 years out of my life, one should get old enough to not have to pay taxes. Maybe if I got my citizenship revoked????
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My Spirituality. Going to South America. Ummmm, my brain is always going on. It gets to be a nuisance. I have been told that I daydream. What's that? What did you say?
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday nights can be typical??????? Whooda thunk.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have the ability to cry. I still cry for my lost wife. I am a widower. Sad songs can sometimes bring it out. DON'T you DARE tell anyone.
You should message me if
and only if, you want to.

OK, they want me to bracket words. Let's give it a try. words. I don't know why that is supposed to complete my profile, but..... words.
