My self-summary
I don't really care about sports, unless its college football or basketball. I have to support my school. Outside of the "big four" the only sport I watch on the weekends is Formula 1. For the majority of the year I'm watching the races instead of watching football. I love driving, even though this entire area is pretty much terrible for having fun while doing so. Jeopardy is one of my favorite shows, as long as I make it home in time from work to catch it.
What I’m doing with my life
I just moved to southern California after spending my entire life in the DC area. It's a pretty different experience and I'm looking forward to life without snow.
I’m really good at
Trivia, naming song title AND artist after two or three seconds, especially mid-verse/chorus as long as it is from the mid-late 90s. I watch jeopardy and usually do really well as long as the categories aren't about literature or politics.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm fat, I'm kind of condescending if I think you are stupid, I know a lot of obscure facts about cars, and I can easily go on tangents about the strangest facts without warning. If anything, it helps diffuse the tension in awkward moments when you can just start talking about something like the brand of tv in the bar or something else uniquely nerdy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Catcher in the Rye, The Rule of Four, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Breaking Bad, and lately I'm fucking loving the Machine Head cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name. In general, my musical tastes are all over the place. I can love a rap song just because the beat itself is catchy to me, or I can love a metal song just for the sheer brutality of the guitars. I would have to say the most listened to stations in my car are the edm/dance stations or the metal and classic rock channels on satellite radio.
The six things I could never do without
The internet, a computer, music, a car, water and a good Döner.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How much I wish I was better at calculus. I always wanted to be an engineer but never took it before college and had to promptly reconsider what I was going to do with my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing with a drink catching up on TV shows I have on my DVR or watching the latest movie from Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really dislike large scale tattoos. I can understand something small on maybe your arms or legs but chest tattoos that ruin cleavage or something like an entire sleeve make no sense to me.
