My self-summary
I'm here for friends, especially the kind who love intellectual conversations, board gaming, and either craft beer or mixed drinks.

I have a wonderful and thoughtful boyfriend with a green thumb who grows flowers for me and cans delicious tomato sauce.

I believe good friends are like family; my two best friends and I think of each other as brothers and sister.

Never stop learning is my motto and I returned to school to live up to my creed. I'm aiming for a PhD in English: Film & Literature and looking forward to teaching composition.

My academic (and personal) areas of interest include: popular culture (video games, comics, anime), visual communication, feminist theory, gender studies, deconstruction and post-modernism.

I enjoy activism and I actively support LGBTQ, POC, Women's, and animal rights campaigns.

What I’m doing with my life
Playing the starving artist game
Reading everything
Making Ursula K. Le Guin my celebrity role model
Making my aunt my real life role model
Courageously barely maintaining a blog
Balancing the joy of DIY with time and convenience restraints
I’m really good at
Visual Art Illustration, computer art, and mixed media. Blending eastern and western philosophy with worldwide motifs and popular culture.

Roleplaying & Writing Character design and world-building are my strong points. Currently toying with short stories and plays.

Making the best of life I've become rather accomplished at turning chores into games, and rolling with the punches when plans abruptly change.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm open about myself and cultivate a depraved sense of humor.

I dress how I feel: tree-hugging counter-culture guerrilla one day, gender-playful model the next.

A blank page

Social Justice and awareness.
What I could be writing.

On a typical Friday night I am
Preparing for Saturday, which is my weekly wind-down day when invite friends over for board games, video games, and drinking.

Some day soon Friday may become roleplaying night again.
