My self-summary
** Update : I'm in a relationship now and ONLY open to platonic friendship. **
According to the Staff Robot here I am more kinky, literary, compassionate, independent , kind, ambitious, experienced in sex, scientific, cool, submissive, sex-driven, indie, romantic, and better mannered than the average woman my age and less experienced in life ( I strongly disagree with that one ) , adventurous ( disagree again) , spiritual, old-fashioned, mathematical, greedy, and trusting which is a fairly accurate if somewhat brief and bare summary.

Basically, I'm all about affection, sex, love, kindness, altruism, equality, responsibility, personal growth, learning, adventure, avidity, and happiness.

I'm going to get musical here and say that these songs represent something significant about me :

*** Might as well put this prominently out there, but I am NOT looking for casual sex ( I did it before and was unimpressed ; see more at the bottom of this long, long profile ) and any "hey", " wat's up baby?" , how you doin?", or "dam baby anal?" message won't make me change my mind on that. If that's all you've got it is probably for the best to just keep it rather than give it to me. The same applies to guys who feign interest in being together in order to have sex - keep it.
It should be mentioned that I'm also not looking to join couples even with the incentive of " $ 500 cash". Sorry, I like a lot of things, but threesomes and moresomes are not among my myriad interests.

Also, please pass me on by if you already have a kid or want to have them. I'm not going to change my mind on not liking them and have no intention of having/spending time with any. All companion animals are welcome though!

I'm looking for a serious long-term relationship. Basically, just the two of us doing a lot of boring stuff, a lot of meaningful stuff, going on adventures, having a LOT of sex and cuddling, and not wanting anything to be different or to change because it is already fulfilling. ***
What I’m doing with my life
Rather than what I'm doing ( working part-time, studying, working out, and just generally 'a stumbling through life) , this is what I'd like to do :

I also did this - I'm beside the big green sign - ( ) and am going to get involved to further support equality and reproductive rights.
I’m really good at
Apparently I'm proficient at being completely unintentionally funny. Despite being a rather serious person, I manage to spurt humour here and there. And I do it whilst being curiously a bit awkward and serious and casual ( Yo, boys and girls) and proper (Greetings, friends) .

I'm proficient at noticing details about people and interpreting those details. It's difficult to lie to me.
The first things people usually notice about me
Most people are confused as to where I'm from since I have a slight English accent from watching and being influenced by British programmes from an early age in conjunction with not socialising much . Also, my hair is quite long - about 37 inches- and is slowly making its way down to my knees. It has caused young kids to chase after me to ask if I was Rapunzel.

I'm observant and mature and look at everything and everyone deeply and closely.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Literature is a passion. My favourites in novels flow around the same veins as The Picture of Dorian Gray, Wuthering Heights, Great Expectations, Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov, Lolita, Howard's End, Edgar Allan Poe tales, The Phantom of the Opera , On the Road, Brideshead Revisited, The Invisible Man, The Time Machine, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Lord of the Rings, and To Kill a Mockingbird among many others, particularly those considered classics.
Studies on topics such as feminism, philosophy, and evolution are of intense interest as well with Simone de Beauvoir's The Second Sex and Darwin's Theory on Evolution as examples.
I do love both films and stories about animals such as White Fang and Black Beauty, but I always blubber my way through them. Few things hit me as hard as animals being abused or killed in a story or film or, for that matter , in real life.

In plays, Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett, George Bernard Shaw, Arthur Miller, and Sophocles are to my taste.

Favourites in poetry includes Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allan Poe, Edward Thomas, Walt Whitman, William Wordsworth, Percy Bysshe Shelley, William Blake, William Shakespeare, Robert Frost, Pablo Neruda, Langston Hughes, Ralph Waldo Emerson, George Byron, and the like and , especially, the Romantics.

Just as in books, the classics and those of quality draw me in to films as well. Mostly drama, some independent, some foreign, some mystery, some suspense, some musicals, some comedy, some fantasy, and some animated ( old nostalgic ones from childhood). They include 12 Angry Men ( 1957), The Shawshank Redemption, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Matrix, The Silence of the Lambs, Casablanca, High Sierra, The Maltese Falcon, Rear Window, The Birds, The Lady Vanishes, The 39 Steps, Shadow of a Doubt, Citizen Kane, City Lights, The Lives of Others, Black Book ( 2006), Amelie, To Kill a Mockingbird, Singin' in the Rain, The Band Wagon, An American in Paris, Pygmalion ( 1938), My Fair Lady, The Train, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, You Can't Take It With You, Insomnia, Scent of a Woman, Black Swan, Rain Man, Nosferatu ( 1922), The Invisible Man ( 1933), The Remains of the Day, Secretary, The English Patient , Dead Poets Society, Harry and Tonto, and A Room With a View as an example.

Television, for me, means Antiques Roadshow, Downton Abbey , Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Twilight Zone, Nature, social experiment shows such as What Would You Do? , educational programming on such subjects as history, science, art, animals, philosophy, and astronomy, and a few comedic shows watched for nostalgia. British programmes rank highly too - Doctor Who, QI, Keeping Up Appearances , Are You Being Served? Mr. Bean , Jeeves and Wooster, Quite Interesting, Prime Suspect, and more - as I am a long-time Anglophile. And I LOVE Midsomer Murders, Inspector Morse, Inspector Lewis, Miss Marple, and the majority of what would be found airing on PBS Mystery. Adore it! I also am partial to podcasts like Entitled Opinions.

In music I generally like individual songs more than certain artists with the exception of classical. Soft rock, pop, opera, classical, some rap and hip hop when working out and doing Zumba, easy listening, jazz ( big band and smooth jazz particularly), and some world is what inspires me to motion.

Food: All vegan, all the time. I try my best to stay with whole foods and healthy foods to complement fitness goals though I can get down occasionally with less than healthy ( get those vegan brownies baking and that vegan coffee gelato out) as well. I know how to cook and bake decently so I can make pretty much whatever I want despite what I actually do is usually a matter of throwing ingredients together as quickly as possible for lack of time or inclination. Simple, delicious, healthy, vegan.
The six things I could never do without
Only six? Well, I'll have to be very general to try to enclose as many subjects as possible then.
1. Both physical and non-physical affection ( both sexual and nonsexual )/ being touched/ being held
2. Education/ something new to learn ( both of the formal and autodidact variety)
3. A schedule
4. Music
5. Fitness/lifting/Insanity
6. Caring/ empathy/ kindness/altruism. That shit is important.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend hours thinking about my goals and how to reach them, the future, various philosophical questions, role playing how life would be if I chose one path over another, ideas for poems, plays, and stories, things I have learned, physical and emotional intimacy, human nature, human psychology, what might be fun to do for fitness, the earth's future, and on and on. Usually I accomplish nothing because I'm too conflicted on what to pursue first. It's a deadly habit.
On a typical Friday night I am
A typical Friday night would find me in bed slipping into dreams after studying and working out or , usually, just working . Often though , for a bit of nightfallen fun, I'll go out and watch the perpetually exquisite night sky and try to find constellations or walk around downtown and watch the city and the people.

I also do this too on the days each week that I don't have Zumba class :
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I find Thomas Edison ( in the photographs of him as a young man) quite physically intriguing. I didn't learn about Tesla until later on but he's rather physically intriguing too.

Since I was eleven I've wanted to be a ' bad ass chick from the Moulin Rouge' as depicted in the song ' Lady Marmalade' ( ) . And still do in the sense of embracing such a confident attitude and gorgeous costumes.

I find Sophocles' character ' Antigone' to be rather an inspiration for character.

Not really a private thing, but I am tremendously vexed that everyone who seems to be sweet and nice always want kids when I don't intend on having any. I feel it makes me seem like a cold person and a " wicked witch" when I only want to adopt animals and my view of a family is me , a partner, and perhaps a few adopted dogs and cats.

Might as well be open about it, but I want this with a loving partner :
You should message me if
* You have something more to say than " wat up baby dtf? , " hey", "sex ? " , or some other similar "greeting". I don't really know how to respond to just "hey" and I will not respond to something along the lines of " dam baby anal?". Nobody's got time for shallow and dumb messages . If there is any doubt as to whether or not it will be perceived as dumb it is probably for the best to just keep it close and to yourself.

* You love Zumba/working out and like to talk about it
* You find the world fascinating and want to discuss it
* You have an interest in common with me that you're enthusiastic about too and would like to discuss it
* You don't consider yourself a "carnivore" or a caveman.

* Please, if you consider yourself indifferent to others and view yourself and your wants as more important than being kind and responsible to others , do pass me by. Apathy and immaturity are things I can't deal with. We are each important and need to care about ourselves, but we must care about our fellows in life as well. You have to give what you'd want to get.

* You are really sweet, really nice, intelligent, atheist, vegan, don't want kids , and need a lot of sex and cuddling to be content. I value sweet, loving, strictly monogamous, kinky, intelligent, "hands on" guys.

* I'm not looking for casual sex. I did that for a while and it was marvellous physically yet sad and unsatisfying emotionally which is something I'm not willing to continue doing. I want a lot of sex and a good friendship and loving relationship too. Friendship and perhaps more is something you should be interested in as well.

* You are a fan of Upworthy and TED.

* Just mentioning that if you send me a message implying that I'm pretentious from my tastes in various areas or from my vocabulary it will be deleted. "Ain't nobody got time for that" and I've got ( yet another ) song for that :
