My self-summary
Feel free to contact us if you're interested in discussing " alternative relationships" (oooooooooo, edgy) though mostly I just like browsing OKCupid and maybe running into some cool people I either know from the real world already or might like to know.

My name is Steve. I'm very much a geek. I run a support department. I live with my smizmar who is currently lady-balls deep in designing costumes. Pretty much my life is spent gaming, going to conventions and concerts, absorbing way too much television, occasionally going out and drinking, and otherwise keeping myself busy with music and other distracting interests.

She is Kelsey. She makes things with leather, enjoys cosplay, board games, is not too shabby in the coding department, and generally enjoys most aspects of geek life. She will also likely be happy to play Borderlands with you.
What I’m doing with my life
The entertaining things? I'm a nerdcore rapper and she does the cosplaying thing. There are job-type things too, but those are the fun things.
I’m really good at
Being large. Watching endless quantities of TV or playing video games. Eating candy. I used to be a decent bassist. I'm a pretty good chair/couch as well.

She is good at the crafting end of things. Also not half bad at singing when it comes to Karaoke.
The first things people usually notice about me
At roughly six-and-a-half feet tall and 290, I cast a pretty big shadow. Most notice my size.

For her it's her fun clothing, hair color, likely her figure.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'll just list a lot of things I like here. Not bothering to categorize.

We are a collective George RR Martin slut, so Game of Thrones the show and Song of Ice and Fire the book series are amazing to me. As far as reading goes, I also like the works of Heinlein, Eddings, Vonegut, Hobb, Brooks, a little Stephen King now and again. Nothing that surprising. About to start into Robert Jordan. She's a big fan of Terry Pratchet, R.A. Salvatore, other authors in my list, etc.

Television is a big list, but basically figure that if it is on HBO, Showtime or FX I'll like it. If it is a comic book cartoon series I'll like it. If it is a Comedy Central show we'll probably like it. Some highlights of that are the Wire, Archer, the Shield, Battlestar Galatica. Other shows outside of that are Sherlock, Luther, Merlin, Sherlock, Orange is the New Black, Robin Hood, Dr. Who, Modern Family, Last Week Tonight, Undateable, Comic Book TV, Star Trek (all of it). You get the idea.

Films is too big to list. Top tier for me are Big Lebowski, Shawshank Redemption, 21 Jumpstreet, Star Trek, Children of Men, pretty much every comic book film worth watching, Django Unchained, and the list goes on forever.
The six things I could never do without
Television Series
Song of Ice and Fire Books
Indian food
Geek Music

Webcomics (the dirty kind)
Leather (and the tools to work them)
Her bestie
Her dogs
Baked Goods
I spend a lot of time thinking about
SUPERHERO EVERYTHING, weird hip hop song ideas, possible video game story arches, possible novel story arches, running tabletop campaigns.

For her, likely what she's going to make next costume wise; or Pitch Perfect.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at home, screwing around with hip hop or some game, or marathoning some show we're into. Maybe out at a convention or party of some sort.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Uhm, I'm not private at all. Let's see, I'm about 70 lbs overweight (as a 6'5'' guy), I'm not particularly well hung, I was beat up a lot as a kid, and I sound a bit like a cartoon character or muppet when I talk

She's not so open with those sorts of things. You'll have to get to know us.
You should message me if
You're bored, mostly
