My self-summary
Gosh. I cut my hair and I moved to Corvallis. I had been in Portland and Beaverton, and I grew tired of the crowds, noise and chaos of the City.

I play the guitar and write songs. I work to eat. I eat to live. The rest of the time I try my best to be mellow and good natured. I love art, literature and music, and I am partial to people who share those passions. (I also typically accept and admire people who have found other things about which they are passionate.) I have arranged my life so that it will allow me time to write, think and play rhythm guitar.

I enjoy doing things and seeing things, like eating cool food and going new places. I love to see live music and theater.

Sometimes I do yoga. I hike and walk a lot. I feel most spiritual when surrounded by the beauty of nature ... the mountains, the river, the coast.

I avoid naysayers, people who display negative emotions. I avoid know it alls and people who believe they are superior to others. If you are not relatively kind and nice to know, then I don't want to know you.

I am semi retired and financially self sufficient. My not so secret wish is to find someone who has as much time and freedom as I do.
What I’m doing with my life
Photography and videography. Worshipping nature. Browsing and thinking and singing and writing. I try my best to eat right, even if I am an omnivore.
I’m really good at
Singing, writing, editing, photography, walking around, finding a good place to have lunch. Hanging out with my dog. Cooking. Day hikes. Designated driver (I don't drink). Chatting with people. Forgetting where I parked the car.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am cheerful. I am smiling. I enjoy talking with people and I am listening to and interested in what they have to say.

I am dressed like a cowboy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read non-fiction as I am always trying to learn something. The last fiction I read was historical fiction about the Oregon Trail. I don't do much television, but I love documentaries and movies.

All music is good.
All food is to be enjoyed.
The six things I could never do without
These are not in order of priority
1. The grocery store
2. My dog
3. A camera
4. My laptop
5. My guitars
6. Coffee
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to make people laugh. Peace and love. What to make for dinner. What the future will be like.
On a typical Friday night I am
Home making dinner. I like to eat and I am not picky at all. It's nice to have company and most of the time I would love for someone to come join me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have no tattoos or piercings. My body is a blank canvas and I think it is going to stay that way.
You should message me if
Literature, ideas and art are important to you, but television isn't. You don't mind that I take pictures of funny signs, of funny business names, and of cats and dogs. If you enjoy looking for cool rocks at the river.
