My self-summary
East Coaster turned San Diegan.

My free time during the week is mostly spent reading, exploring the Internet, or weight lifting. Sometimes I craft (recently learned leather working) and I occasionally get into a computer game.
I'm a fan of technology, board gaming, Comic Cons, fantasy, Sci-fi, and understanding the why and the how of things.

As for the other 1% of my life that sounds cooler: I've spent a lot of time in Tasmania (Australia), I think white water rafting is the best water activity, I'm currently planning a trip to Japan, I'm a twin, I build my own computers, and... I'm struggling to finish my profile
What I’m doing with my life
On the professional side; I'm a Network engineer and I love my career, but I wont go into detail unless someone asks; talking about my job can cause eyes to glaze over.
I’m really good at
-Making people laugh.
-Not taking life too seriously.
-Analogies and metaphors.
-Willpower (or stubbornness, whichever)
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look like my pictures. No really, it's true.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These sort of lists can be tricky. Favorites change. So I'm going to try and speak in generalities - with a few examples tossed in.

1) I love fantasy novels. It's not rare for me to miss a bit of sleep because of "just one more chapter".
I would recommend anything by Anne Bishop, Kim Harrison, Jim Butcher, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, Peter V. Brett.
I also sometimes read comic books or graphic novels.

2) Pixar and Disney movies for sure. Action, Adventure, Comic book, and what you would call generally geek movies.
I also love a lot of "classic" 90s movies.

3) It's easier for me to pick favorite shows than movies. Some of the top ones are Firefly, Farscape, Buffy, Angel, Wonderfalls, Special Unit 2, Stargates SG1, Dexter, Community, a few of the Star Treks, Game of Thrones, Archer, Family Guy, Sealab 2021, Once Upon a Time... Oh, and a few dozen Anime.
Joss Whedon may very well be my deity.

4) I like music, i have music playing most of the time, but I don't consider myself a music person. So giving you a list of bands wouldn't really tell you much about me.

5) Breakfast.
Italian food, Deli food, Bread, several Chinese and Thai dishes, a few things from an Indian or Mexican menu, and Brownie Sundaes.
I do not enjoy sea food.
I'm not a foodie. That has been confirmed. I like a variety of things, but I have fairly simple tastes.
Six things I could never do without
-The Internet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about possibilities a lot; both real and absurd ones.

I'm often thinking "What's Next?"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've taken shirtless mirror selfies! *sob* I'm so ashamed!
You should message me if
You consider yourself a geek, dork, or nerd.

You want to talk about anything and everything, even those silly "That's not actually a real thing" conversations.
You want to suggest activities - I could use some more "let go do something!" people in my life.
