In the process of saving money to make a few extended visits to places I could see myself wanting to live. (California/NY/Tokyo/ somewhere in Austalia are the current frontrunners)
Realistically it's probably the glazed over expression followed by the slurred speech and then the inevitable can of beer in hand that simultaneously ties together and explains the entire look.
The God Delusion, The Life of Pi, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night time, Watchmen, Anything Dr. Seuss, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and a few Poker books. Not as interested in fiction since the pages stopped popping up to be honest.
I'm very familiar with the IMDB top 250 and I don't think there's really a film on there (that I've seen) that I haven't appreciated in some way or another but here's a spread of films that came to mind first although it's probably missing a few important ones I can't currently be bothered to remember- Anything Scorsese, Tarantino, Kevin Smith or Marvel related + Old Boy, There Will Be Blood, A Scanner Darkly, Fight Club, Cypher, Donnie Darko, LOTR, The Batman trilogy, American Beauty, Scarface, V for Vendetta, Whiplash, Birdman, This is England, Inception, The Shawshank Redemption, Blade Runner, Juno, Se7en, Lucky Number Sleven, Ip Man 1 & 2, Fearless, Hero, Memento, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Dude Where's my Car?, Requiem for a dream, Watchmen, Akira, A Beautiful Mind, Drive, Disturbia, K-Pax, Mr. Nobody, The Fighter, The Garden State, The Master, Warrior, The Usual Suspects, The Place Beyond the Pines.
Archer, Rick and Morty, Black Mirror, Game of Thrones, Mr. Robot, Orange is the New Black, This is England, True Detective, Luther, Mad Men, Trailer Park Boys, Sherlock, Community, Band of Brothers, South Park, Parks and Recreation, New Girl, Drawn Together, Pointless, Daredevil, The Mighty Boosh, American Horror Story, Californication, Breaking Bad, Dexter and a lot of anime. Plus If it's on Netflix I'll probably get round to it.
Inherited 360 vinyls that I'm yet to listen to so I imagine there'll be more to add to this list but here we go- Bonobo, Billy Woods, Flying Lotus, DOOM, Homeboy Sandman, Nirvana, Grimes, Death Grips, Santan Dave, RHCP, Shlomo, Lauren Hill, James Blake, Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown, Mala, Coki, Murlo, CASisDEAD, Bob Marley, Gorillaz, Digital Mystikz, JME, Preditah, Vince Staples, The Gaslamp Killer, Madlib, A$AP Rocky, Nosaj Thing, OutKast, Shabazz Palaces, Boylan, Four Tet, Clams Casino, Jon Hopkins, Kromestar, Pangaea, Om Unit, The Offspring, Wu-Tang Clan, The Temper Trap (because this one time on shrooms...), Pixies, Rustie, Violent Femmes, Notorious BIG, Pusha T, Lupe Fiasco, Nas, Souls of Mischief, Portishead, Tokimonsta, BADBADNOTGOOD, Dizzee Rascal, Kano and Kanye West (in moderation) will suffice as a reasonable insight to what I'm currently into but will give virtually anything a listen excluding the dregs of modern pop.
I aim for a sustainable diet (less meat and animal products) but won't turn down a meal if offered.
I'd like to expand my horizons in all of these areas so if you've got any recommendations I'd be glad to hear from you.
Heavy nights accompanied by a large volume of water beside my bed the following day.
My watch. (Sentimentality not punctuality).
Clicky pencils with erasers.
The snooze button.
Fitness; politics; money; religion; morality; fashion; festival season; moving to California/NY/Tokyo/Australia and how exactly that will work out; if I should sell my soul to a high paying corporation or become a raging hippie and teach rock climbing or something else outdoorsy; how much people who don't watch anime are missing out; if there's any other image that means enough to me to get it tattooed on my body; Nintendo things; women and how much beard is enough beard.
Bonus points for cynicism, logic, grammatical proficiency and a dark/dry sense of humour.
