My self-summary
Lately I'm just some kind of farmer/artist mix trying to get everything I can out of life.

I've been all over in the past few years. Mostly working in food sovereignty projects.

I've developed horticulture projects with small scale coffee farmers, done translations, taught english in Honduras and music in Ecuador. I was working for more than a year on a demonstrative agroforestry project in Nicaragua.

I like to travel but don't believe in traveling just for the sake of it. I like to be in a place and get to know people. I'm starting to believe that I'm ready for something beyond the endless transience, and that I want to have friendships and relationships that don't have some cutoff date when myself or my friends and loved ones are always leaving to go somewhere else.

Food is important (and delicious). I believe that by changing the way we farm and interact with what we eat, we can change the world.

I can light a fire from what I find on the ground with one match in a thunderstorm, but I can't use an iPhone to save my life.

Nothing feels more right to me than being in a forest.
What I’m doing with my life
Working in a vineyard.

Readjusting to the US, still.

Being a student of life, taking every opportunity to learn something new.

I plan on starting an agroforestry project in the NE in the next few years, but who knows what that will be exactly or where.

I write as much as I can get away with. I don't want my art to become my job, but I want my job to leave plenty of time for my art.

I'm an experience junkie. I live for stories.
I’m really good at
Using a machete
Finding my way in the dark without a flashlight
Walking in other peoples shoes
Packing bags
Being just stupid enough to always find myself in strange places, and just smart enough to get out
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm always a little lost, and I don't mind.

The six things I could never do without
A good flannel shirt
Fresh fruit and veg
My little sister
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The quantum nature of the universe.
How to fit stuff in a backpack.
Starting a farm like the world has never seen.
On a typical Friday night I am
In the wrong place at the wrong time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Working outside in the tropics has given me a tan line that might be permanent.
You should message me if
You've picked up a book this month.
You don't mind getting dirty.
