My self-summary
So I guess I'm probably a lot like every other late 20-something in the middle of an existential crisis regarding life, the universe and everything. In more specifics, I'm recently out of a relationship and realizing spending a year with one person kind of cuts off one's social options at some point. So here I am, looking for people to hang out with, and possible not serious dating.
What I’m doing with my life
Well, working, and some writing, and generally doing my best to take care of a grey and black fuzzball that's way clingier than any human being I've met.
I’m really good at
I can improvise a meal out of just about any two or three ingredients. (No promises it'll be good, but it'll be there.) I also make a mean cup of coffee.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm kind of a nonchalant asshole, but I'm generally nice about it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a big fan of classic books, though lately I've found Jim Butcher worth the read. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is sure on the top of my favorite books. I also love most fantasy/sci-fi I read. The Road was another great one, as were The Zombie Survival Guide, The Lord of the Rings, Macbeth, and Whitman, Dragonlance, The Jungle, Heart of Darkness, Crime and Punishment, Atonement, Neverwhere, American Gods, Clapton, and The Dark Tower.

Also: Comics: Watchmen, Captain America, X-Men, Deadpool, Fables, Iron Man, Captain Britain, Thor, Avengers.

As for movies, I'll give about anything a watch, though again, I do love my sci-fi, and I grew up on Star Wars. Also, love Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting.

Music: I love music: any, all, and everything. Though especially blues and classic rock.

For food, I'm trying to expand my tastes, I do like meat and pasta in nearly any form. I also recently discovered I can make a killer chili. From here, I really do want to find new stuff to like.
Six things I could never do without
An inanimate object to rant at
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Creativity, comics, craft beer. and why I can't ever seem to get that last detail right.
On a typical Friday night I am
Ummm if it's nice out, a patio bar somewhere in town. If it's not, likely hanging at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have absolutely no idea what all these 4 letter Myers Briggs results actually mean on everyone's profiles.
You should message me if
- you enjoy gaming, comics, anime, and other such geekiness.

- you like good beer and dive bars.

- you feel a terrible need to over analyze books and movies.
