My self-summary
Work stuff: Web Designer, former Educator, taught special-ed, and adult language classes, moved into's, quality control and data analysts, project manager, IT manager, network support. I have always maintained a big interests in integrated medicine, herbs, and nutrition, so I've worked as a nutritionist, and currently work as an office manager for a company that sells Chinese herbs.

More important stuff:

World Citizen, internationalist, environmentalist, Uomo universale, autodidact, a philomath, dilittante, humanist. I love world travel, learn, but apply what I know and can do to help others. I'm very nurturing and caring.

I like nice people, open-minded, kind, thoughtful, and empathetic; I ignore no one. I admire those who find happiness in helping others and treating people with equality, respect and understanding per the golden rule; those who see we all share adventures in life, but reach out and to connect our unique experiences that are in fact deeply interrelated. There is much beauty to be seen and made!

What to do when we meet? Its not what you do, it's who you do it with. Any kind of interactive activity, depending on the nature of the interactive dynamic and the current comfort level. There is no rush, and there is no one right path to getting to know someone and building trust, confidence and admiration, respect. Its always a step forward once you start interacting and there is no one ideal date as this varies with the individuals. I do like deep conversations, smiles, and some touching, ideally. :) I'm romantic by nature, but never pushy. It has to be mutual and "natural." :)

Some qualities about me: I'm a caring, loving, person that is sincere, friendly, and appreciate those who are straight forward, communicative, and honest. I'm also spontaneous, open minded, affectionate, and passionate--but also very easy going; I get along with almost everyone. I love to read books, listen to music, cook, dine out, and spend time with family and friends. If this sounds like someone you would like to know, and wish to open up a possible adventure, send me a message!

I'm looking for a kind, loving, compassionate, intelligent, passionate and intellectually curious person with inherent qualities of hotness. :)

I’m really good at
if I told you, I would certainly be doubted, and come off as someone boasting, possibly arrogant. I prefer to be modest, and not brag. But I do welcome those who are qualified to find out about my many talents in person. To name just one thing, I love giving excellent massages. I am also super affectionate and have a healthy passionate side. I love the intimacy and bonding that comes with compatible chemistry.
The first things people usually notice about me
People think I'm part Asian and like my eyes. They also notice that I'm very nice, and thoughtful. Later they comment that I'm a walking encyclopedia. In the interests of modesty, I've toned down talking like one. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books? Too many to list. I'm an avid reader, spending most of my time in bookstores and libraries, before the internet. Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill. I tend to prefer non-fiction, but I love the classics. I tend toward critical Marxian analysis in social sciences and philosophy, with strong influences from the Frankfurt School of critical theory. Works of Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Micheal Parenti, are favorites, and whose lectures I've gone to since my Berkeley High School days. Mark Twain, esp. his early works, and Victor Hugo rank high as well. I also am fond of Chekov, Dostoyevsky, Engels, Sartre, Camus, and Spinoza, Bertrand Russell, Chirstopher Caudwell, Marcuse, Dewey, Bacon, Lao Tzu, Hume, Huxley, Asimov, Darwin, Sagan, Orwell, Octavio Paz--among others.

Movies? Fog of War, Matrix , Gattaca, Bowling for Columbine, F911, Dr. Strangelove, Day the Earth Stood Still, Army of the Seven Monkeys, Amadeus, God Father, Black Orpheus, V for Vendetta, Contact, Shawshank Redemption, Devil's Advocate, Kill Bill, AI: Artificial Intelligence; Brokeback Mountain, the Bicycle Thief, Black Swan, and most of the undisputed classics and masterpieces of the film art world, as well.

Tv shows: Star Trek (original), Colombo, Law and Order, ER, The Science and History Discovery Channels programs, Nova, Micheal Moore films, The Apprentice, educational programing, documentaries.

Music? Diverse tastes. I've played symphony orchestras so I know classical particularly well, but every genre of music contains genius and excellence; I keep my ears open and enjoy it all, esp. "world music," and most of what we never hear on the radio, in particular the harmonies of Greek and Arab music, and the melodies of the Japanese. I like minimalism, and met Philip Glass once performing. I love all of Mozart, esp. his Piano Concertos. I like his operas, too, esp. Don Giovanni. Rossini, Vivaldi, Beethoven, and Bach are also favorites. I also like oldies rock and a wide variety of songs, musical plays, folks music, the "protest songs" of Phil Ochs, and REM.
Six things I could never do without
Well to answer this question scientifically, and be literal-minded, this would technically be:
Stimulation (mental and physical)
Expression and sharing
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to make the world a better place, to end all forms of oppression and exploitation, and protect the environment that sustains all life. To learn all I can towards these ends. To be true to myself, figuring out my limitations balanced against the possibilities. To be a living representative of the kind of world I'd like to see come about, and yet, still being part of that world.
On a typical Friday night I am
The premise question assumes that there is such as thing as a typical Friday night. :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
The most private thing I'd be willing to admit in a public online forum would hardly be very private in nature, would it? Then again, how do we define "private"? I try not to create or keep secrets that are kept intentionally away from those who want to know me. Seek, ask, and you shall find and learn everything, although like a book, it takes time to read. I am available, and I have many exciting chapters, but you still have to make the effort to discover yourself! Only those who dare to climb the steep paths will gain its luminous summits!
You should message me if
you feel adventurous!
