My self-summary
Among other things I am a cabbie, a backpacker, a cyclist, a gardener, enjoy brew fests and other festivals, and other such activities. Living in the present is important to me, as is living life with intention. If I'm going to do something, I do it well. I don't want or need someone to fit in with everything I enjoy as I am perfectly happy doing things alone as well, or with other friends. But it sure is nice to enjoy one-on-one time with someone else that is really paying attention; awake! =^)
What I’m doing with my life
I live in the Buckman neighborhood and mostly find myself on the east side except when I'm working. Some day I will travel and backpack the CDT. For now I am enjoying a city I've grown to love. I hang out with neighbors, work too much, find time to watch meteor showers, go to festivals, work on the garden, enjoy a quiet day at the beach, read a novel now and then, appreciate music and cinema. Most often by bike and followed up with an evening of mildly intoxicating substances and occassional random visitors. Yeah, life is a real trip.
I’m really good at
Backpacking, cycling, random adventures, being weird, but in a controlled intelligent manner. :^P
The first things people usually notice about me
This is different in everyone's personal universe.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
All of these topics in just one section?

I enjoy reading. I finish a novel every month or two lately, but I'd lIke to bring a couple to a fire tower this Winter and stay until I finish them. There aren't many current TV shows that I follow, but I do have a few favorite shows both old and newer and enjoy good documentaries. I will be watching a lot of The Young Turks until... well it will be a while with the way national politics are.

And some of what I have enjoyed includes: Star Trek, LotR, Firefly, Back to the Future, Cowboy Bebop, Superman, Don Hertzfeldt cartoons (I have Rejected and The Animation Show on DVD.), Seinfeld, Bones, Stargate, View Askew movies, Monty Python, Mel Brooks, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Terminator, Bruce Willis, Bones, and I am sure there are others I'm leaving out.

And I like bands with amazing vocalists and/or that are highly technical and excel at performing varied musical styles. Music with guitars and all that jazz.

I will eat just about any food that came about without suffering by fellow Earthlings. Some favorite restaurants and foods are, Portobello, Blossoming Lotus, Sweetpea, flavorful tofu scrambles, vegan mac n' cheeze... there is so much amazing food here!
Six things I could never do without
Amazing friends and loving family, fruits and veggies, communing with Nature, my bikes and joy for riding them, tasty local brews with fun people...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The ways in which our society and culture could change to be more in tune with the rest of Nature. How to keep having lots of fun, but also be responsible and work enough to buy into my company by next year. How to separate my work and social life by doing things such as leaving my smartphone at home when I don't have a specific use for it, thereby letting the night unfold in an organic manner.
On a typical Friday night I am
I make Tuesday my Friday. None of Mt nights are typical. How boring would that be?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am an enigma, wrapped in a chocolate candy coating, wrapped in an enigma.
You should message me if
you say what you mean and do what you say. Let's be awake and live life with intention! =^)
