My self-summary
I am a geologist who enjoys camping, traveling, reading, coffee/tea, and as of this summer lifting and running at the gym. I generally like to occupy my time with activities so I am always on the run! I also enjoy helping people whenever I can. This can range from helping someone jump-start their car to life advice.

In case anyone is wondering, yes, I have heard one too many Randy Marsh jokes after I tell people I am a geologist. And yes, I love making silly puns to get back at them.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm studying groundwater sciences at WMU as a graduate student right now. When I'm not studying groundwater I'm belting a solo in the shower, winning imaginary arguments in the shower (who doesn't do that in the shower?), and thinking about what I will cook for my housemates in the shower. I have come to the conclusion the shower is great for doing other non-shower things.
I’m really good at
I'm good at seeing things from other people's perspectives.
The first things people usually notice about me
People say I am friendly and understanding. There is usually a goofy smile on my face after learning something cool in class or telling a pun. Sometimes I wear a bowtie. When it is colder I wear an obnoxiously large Harry Potter gold and red scarf.

A lot of people have told me I would love John Miur. I looked him up and his quote, "the mountains are calling and I must go" resonated closely with me.

The six things I could never do without
1.) The ability to memorize random things.
2.) My active imagination: keeps me from getting bored.
3.) My curiosity towards everything!
4.) My Car: a trusty travel companion.
5.) My friends all over the world.
6.) My laptop: for research
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-Rocks and minerals.

-How as living organisms, we are the universe experiencing itself.

On a typical Friday night I am
Studying, researching, or working. The grad life is totally fun! But during those rare occasions I'm free I'm at a bonfire with friends or stargazing.

Sadly, despite my username, I have not caught Geodude yet while playing Pokemon Go.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to hide rum behind a removable soap caddy in my boarding school's dorm room shower. They never caught me.

I'm looking for someone who genuinely enjoys life, has a huge sense of humor, an open mind, and can nerd out over anything.

If you love telling corny science jokes over a beer or genuinely enjoy life, shoot me a message.
