My self-summary
Polyamourous, Genderfluid, Pansexual, Pagan, and Kinky. Yes, they're buzzwords, but they're very true as well.

My pronouns change with my presentation. If in doubt they/them/their works. But I don't get touchy about it.

I'm a student. In every sense. I've graduated from college, but am still always seeking new knowledge. I love the art of conversation, and the occasional thrill of an intellectual argument.

I'm fairly laid back. I describe myself as a B+ personality type. I'll follow or lead, whatever is needed.

I don't do well with jealousy. I don't like to feel it, and I don't like for others to feel it around me. I am not a monogamous person. I tried it for years, and it simply makes me miserable. I believe in honesty, and communication. I believe love takes many forms, and there is always enough to go around.

I value family, mine is very important to me, and I enjoy being part of other people's families as well. A crazy uncle is always fun to meet.

I value free speech, equality, and acceptance. I will NOT tolerate homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, ableism, classism, or religious intolerance. Everyone has a right to be who they are.
What I’m doing with my life
Other than work, I spend a lot of time with my pup, Sassy, my friends, they keep me sane, and my family, they keep me crazy. :)
I’m really good at
Chattering to fill uncomfortable silences

Costume changes, I mean why shouldn't I have a different look for each activity?

Staying calm and analyzing

Smiling when it's the last thing people expect

Sticking my foot firmly in my mouth. It lodges there quite well from time to time.

Putting already inappropriate jokes over the awkward edge
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile I suppose, the nickname "sunshine" had to come from somewhere
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Sci if and fantasy. I tend to go for authors who create universes through writing series. Couple of my favorites:
Laurell K. Hamilton
Orson Scott Card
David Weber
Garth Nix
Tamara Pierce

There are plenty of one off books as well, but you'll just have to message me to find out. ;)

I love horror movies. I love both the good ones, and the horribly bad. Musicals are always a favorite. And who can live without comedies?
Silence of the Lambs
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Shaun of the Dead
Zombie land
Office Space
Paranormal Activity

I love movie marathon nights.

Mostly medical and paranormal dramas
American Horror Story
Lost Girl
Warehouse 13
Others I can't think of.......

My tastes are eclectic to say the least. One day it's emo rock, the next Celtic folk. Classical then heavy metal. And pretty much everything in between.

Mostly I'm just not a big meat eater. I am a bit picky, but I can be convinced to try things. I feel like my tastes are too limited, and I'm open to them being expanded. Wanna help me with that?
Six things I could never do without
1. Family, both chosen and blood
2. Sassy, my neurotically needy dog
3. Love/affection/sex
4. Living near the ocean, sometimes I just need to feel small
5. A steady influx of new experiences
6. My car/phone. They, together, are my social lifeline
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The universe. How things work. What makes people tick. Why red fades so fast from hair. If there really are micro cosmos. What's hiding at the bottom of the ocean. How mythology applies to modern life. Why people are disturbed by different things. The many forms of love.

I'm rarely bored because my mind is always going. I love to think about thinking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out. I love to go to bars and clubs. I love the interaction and the infusion of energy after a long week. But I also love to just go to a friends house and watch movies to ridiculously late hours. You just won't find me at my house.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have bipolar. It's well managed, and honestly you won't even notice it until you've known me awhile. But it does take a portion of my energy to effectively manage it.
You should message me if
You laugh at stupid things. If you accept people with open arms, and cherish differences.

You should message me if you identify as poly. If you love life, you're seeking adventure, and you want someone to go on a journey with.

It's a bonus for me if you enjoy clubbing, androgyny, and both horror movies and musicals.

Or, you know, just if you think I'm awesome.

(Please know that I am completely "out". And if we go on a date, I'm going to assume you are too.)
