My self-summary
This is my first time on any kind of online dating. A friend suggested it to me. So, a little about me - I like to think I'm pretty carefree. I like going to movies, going out to eat, walks in the park, tinkering with my mustang, and raiding bookstores. I am my own person and refuse to change for anyone, and I would expect no less from others. My personal philosophy is to love myself for who I am and appreciate other people for who and what they are. My other motto is to never be afraid to show affection at any given time. I love music, but don't really check out new stuff unless someone tells me about it. I love to make people laugh. My father's British and I have some of his habits. Tends to be where the jokes come from...Dry sense of humor beware!

I am honest, geeky, and adventurous
What I’m doing with my life
Currently in the Navy, but looking to finish my degree in computer networking.
I’m really good at
Fixing computers, video/computer games, reading, making people smile, tinkering with cars, cuddling, and growing plants. An odd combination, I know...
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile, my glasses, the way I'm dressed, that I'm a bit shy and a little awkward upon first meeting new people, that I'm polite, that I'm somewhat touchy-feely, and that I'm kinda odd.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Most sci-fi books, fantasy books, etc... Ahh heck, I just love reading. I'll read almost anything and I'm always up for suggestions. I stopped trying to count everything I read. I will listen to most music, except rap. And again, always up for suggestions for new stuff. I LOVE Chinese food, and I'm actually a pretty good cook. But the kitchen is usually a mess when I'm done... Movies: Ever After, P.S. I love you, most action flicks, and Loads of Anime! Especially the quirky, funny ones where everyone misunderstands and some poor guy gets clobbered for some imagined insult.
Six things I could never do without
Family and friends, books, my phone and computer, my dog, my car, and normal stuff to survive... =P
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Astronomy, new scientific advances and devices, technology, my future, etc. There could be any number of things going on in my mind at any given second.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually working, but after that, diving under some warm blankets with a book and a cup of tea. I make wonderful, tea, by the way...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am coming back to dating after a bit of a break, iv had Friends try to set me up, but it doesn't get me far.
You should message me if
You're interested in meeting a great guy and think we would get along. I'm always up for a good conversation if we have things in common.
