My self-summary
Your run of the mill weird human.

INTJ. Heavier on the I and T, N and J are more flexible. I'm too quiet, but I also somehow manage to blather too much.

I like to think I'm: honest, open, compassionate, humble, moderately capable and ambitious. But I think I'm also: skeptical, pessimistic, boring to some. I'm interested in self improvement, and welcome constructive criticism. Of course its hard to be objective about one's self.

I'm ideally looking for someone awesome to spend the rest of my life with. But while I endlessly search I'm happy to meet cool people for something shorter, or more casual. (It doesn't have to, but could always grow into something more.)
What I’m doing with my life
Working and living downtown as a software engineer.

Looking for a mate.

Playing beer league hockey. Hopefully playing casual tennis soon, weather permitting.

Practicing piano.

Playing various games.
I’m really good at
Board games. Some video games. My work. Playing piano (okay, maybe moderately good - I like to think anyways).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like most movies. Some movies I've enjoyed: Interstellar, Bernie, Coherence, Hot Rod, The Illusionist, 500 Days of Summer.

I like comedy shows, something with a compelling story, but I'm open to try whatever. Some shows I've enjoyed: Ajin, American Dad, Black Mirror, Key and Peele, Mr. Robot, Parasyte, Shameless, The Eric Andre Show.

Music I enjoy enough to listen to by myself:
- Metal (ask for specifics if you want, but I'm not offended if you don't). I like to see live shows when I can.
- Classical. E.g. Chopin, and also play what I can.
- Electronic. E.g Infected Mushroom, Aphex Twin.
- I think I like most music though. I'm mostly happy to listen to whatever whomever puts on.

Foods I enjoy that I've made: cream of chicken soup, beef and broccoli stir fry, pulled pork, cream of cauliflower soup. Cooking is fun and a good way to save money, but I'm lazy and eat out/order in often enough too.

Not a huge book person but for instance I've read: Brave New World, Lord of the Rings, some Stephen King novels. I'm plenty proficient at reading though. I like to think I have fun with language when I have time to think about communications.
Six things I could never do without
Family and friends
Chilling after work (420+piano practice is usually a good relaxer)
My computer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
This. Trying to find a decent partner (who also think I'm decent).
On a typical Friday night I am
Visiting my parent's place for dinner, games, piano practice.

Rarely in Toronto visiting friends for similar minus piano.
You should message me if
You've made it this far without being scared away. What's the worst that could happen? :)
