My self-summary
I have a temperament which is liberal, but not that into virtue-signalling; and also conservative, albeit of a dialectical sort. By which I mean: I like to think of myself as open-minded.
Which is why philosophy, history, economics, politics, religion and all that kind of goodness tickles my fancy. I need to know what makes the world run.

Music is my second passion. I can play a little, dance a little, and sing a lot, which is what I often do in my spare time.
My third love is video games. I just like them, ok?

You also might want to know that I'm usually chill and reserved. My life has its own particular rhythm, which I'm loath to disturb. I'm open to compromise, as long as I'm not the only one doing the compromising.

MBTI: infj / intp
Enneagram: 5w4 / 9w1
Big5: R-oaI
Politics: neoliberal, socially progressive
Religion: I'm an atheist, I also believe in God(s), and I think They neither exist nor don't exist: this is less paradoxical than it sounds, once you disentangle the possible meanings.

I've met God(s) and They gave me their commandments: Blake's Messiah told me: do what thou wilt; and Blake's Newton told me: reduce transaction costs. I'm a disappointment of a prophet on both accounts by speaking this cryptically, but damn, isn't this fun? ;)
What I’m doing with my life
- Writing an article about my groundbreaking ideas which are, like, totally original and far out, dude!
- Slogging through my backlogs of computer games to complete (NP: Witcher 3)
- Slogging through my backlog of books to read (NR: Wittgenstein 'Philosophical Investigations', Rorty 'Philosophy and the Mirror of Nature', Ostrom 'Governing the Commons')
- Enlarging both the aforementioned backlogs
- Practising the piano and the djembe
- Coming to terms with the whole 'being an independent, responsible adult' thing
I’m really good at
Combining facts and conjectures into my Grand Theory of Everything
Not getting in other people's way
The first things people usually notice about me
How little I talk
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
When it comes to music, I enjoy stuff that's a little bit ambitious, pretentious, or left-of-centre. \m/Metal\m/ is my preferred form of aural nourishment, especially death and progressive, but you'll also find prog rock, electronic music, classical, hip-hop, pop, jazz and folk in my collection.

I also love computer games of all stripes, especially RPGs (Fallout, Planescape:Torment, TES) and point-n'-click adventure games.

I read mostly non-fiction books, about the topics I mentioned earlier.

Like for most mammals, there are tv shows and movies I like, mostly not very demanding. I'm not allergic to anime, board games, or comics either.
Six things I could never do without
- friendship
- chocolate
- music
- humour
- The Sublime
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- game-theoretical underpinnings of belief; 'analytical' knowledge as the result of a dialectical process; asabiyah, signalling, punishment, and their relation to state formation; the private language argument; contextualising transcendent experiences; voice and exit as strategies of social control...
- what I should've said back then
- how much cooler this TV show would be if I was a character
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I put on Wagner when there's a storm outside.
I sleep with plushie carrot.
I sometimes pretend I can dance like Justin Timberlake...

...and I nail it!
You should message me if
...You think people should be treated based on what they do to and with other human beings, not because of how they look, what reproductive organs they have or how well they conform to arbitrary standards of gender, sexuality etc.
...You believe morality should be based on empathy, virtue and reason and not bad ancient literature.
...You love music in some form, especially if it's unusual.
...You know what it's like to be embarrassed of telling a joke so ridiculously convoluted that no one understands why it's funny.
...You're an interesting person who has something different and contrarian to say :).
