My self-summary
I am:
optimistic, adventurous, creative, energetic, proudly nerdy, agnostic, humanist, feminist, liberal.

I'm also a good cook, I eat (moderately) healthy, I love animals, I love art and art museums, I dig stand-up comedy, I'm always down for watching a documentary on birds/space/Genghis Khan/ect, I like board games, and I love fantasy and sci-fi.

Looking for fellow weird person with whom I can cuddle and watch Game of Thrones, prepare delicious food, play elaborate boardgames, ride roller coasters, travel the world, uppercut punch dinosaurs, and maybe go hiking and visit art museums once in a while.

In keeping with my world traveler status, just last month I went to China and South Korea! Hiked the Great Wall, got to see cute panda cubs, saw the Terracotta Soldiers, ate excellent Korean bbq, ect. ect. I saw sooo many cool things, and I walked until my feet hurt...and then I walked some more. It was amazing! :-)

Got LASIK last year, so take any of those old pictures of me with glasses...and imagine them without the glasses! It's pretty awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
working in software quality assurance automation, being awesome, thinking, learning, ect.
Right now I like my job, I'm really good at what I do, and career-wise I'm in a pretty good place.

In May/June this year I visited China/South Korea, went to India this past November, traveled to Japan and Europe in previous years, and last year I did domestic and visited New York City! I really enjoy traveling, and I intend to do more!
I’m really good at
noticing details, planning trips, cooking, writing, board games, creating automated tests (my jorb), spotting plot twists, appreciating irony
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, my radio announcer speaking voice

Food: Indian, Thai, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Sushi, Mexican, Italian, and lots of various good foods. You know who you are, good foods.
I actually like to cook for myself fairly regularly; I make some excellent Indian butter chicken (if I do say so myself) and (occasionally) some half decent banana bread.

I don't really play video games much anymore, but when I get the opportunity I really like watching other people play (preferably an RPG). :-)
The six things I could never do without
1) Internet
2) Travel (I have SO much more stuff to see)
3) Coffee
4) Spicy food
5) Good book(s)/my e-reader
6) Ipod/comedy podcasts on Ipod
I spend a lot of time thinking about
deep, important questions like 'How can we eat?'; 'Why do we eat?'; and 'Where shall we have lunch?'
On a typical Friday night I am
at a nerdy meet-up group, reading a good book, watching terrible/awesome ScyFy original series, soaking in the hot tub/playing in the pool, or saving the world from aliens (again).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I occasionally have some insomnia. Fiona Apple describes it pretty well:
"Every single night / I endure the flight / of little wounds of white flame / butterflies in my brain..."

...also, I try to be Good, Giving, and Game (a term coined by Dan Savage, look it up!).
You should message me if

You're open minded and adventurous!

Also, if you feel like the reason you are chatting with strangers and weirdos on the Interwebs like this because you want to find cool people who you can meet in real life to see if we have any chemistry. ;-)
