My self-summary
I'm pagan, and somewhat involved with my local community. I love a good read, like Turtledove or Maguire. I especially love roadtrips . A good debate/argument can be almost as enjoyable/intoxicating as a good wine, beer, or scotch. (and you're still ok to drive after indulging!) Most of all, I enjoy life and do my best to live it passionately.

I am sardonic, idealistic, and passionate
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to serve my community. Right now, that involves helping run our annual Festival of Souls in October, teaching a course or two and the occasional workshop in my church, and helping Sprint optimize their cellular and data network. (Yeah, I kinda am that "Can you hear me now?" guy from the old Verizon commercials.) I also do the occasional bit of non-professional counseling and life coaching (putting that degree in Psychology to good use). I'm also not too shaby around computers.
I’m really good at
Philosophizing about whatever currently strikes my fancy.
Playing devil's advocate.
Bringing mirth and interesting times where ever I might roam.
Finding some kind of silver lining in any situation, without being maudlin or trite....OK...maybe slightly trite.
Enjoying Life to its fullest.
The first things people usually notice about me
My Grynn and my attitude.

And perhaps my kilt.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books) Good Omens, Wicked; Mirror Mirror; 1633; Dresden files.
Movies)Donnie Darko, Ginger Snaps (all 3), Big Fish, Pirates of the Caribbean, Limitless.
Music) Clash, SJ Tucker (Skinny White Chick), Dropkick Murphys, Yngvie Malmsteem, Dreamtrybe, Lordi,The Pretty Reckless, Five Finger Deathpunch, Bad Religion.
Food) Steak, and anything either spicy, hot, or sensual in nature.
Six things I could never do without
Music, my car, passion, my Grynn, my sanity (oh wait, that's questionable. ;} ) and a life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What makes people tick...
The propaganda used in advertising. (Sometimes I'm full of praise, sometimes disdain.)
The nature and logical rationale of religion (in general).
The evolution of myths over time. (Santa being a prime example.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends or Contra dancing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
We sometimes refer to ourselves using the royal "we," a habit I blame on being a Gemini.
You should message me if
enjoy good conversation, the fine art of flirtation, or random road trips for such frivalous things such as good fudge, meade, or a concert or fire show.
