My self-summary
I'm an outgoing, disarming & unconventional Chicago native who enjoys the adrenaline rush from politics, dancing, playing volleyball & floor hockey. I love my job helping low-wage workers at a politically active labor union.

I'm taking the necessary time to find the right relationship & to eventually have my own kids which I can delay as long as I want thanks to modern science. Staying young & active in the meantime! Looking for a good conversationalists who appreciates life's absurdities & provocative observations, an open communicator with good interpersonal skills, comfortable sharing their feelings. Someone who follows current events, the news or curious & aware of the world around them.

I have an active / youthful lifestyle, with a big, eclectic group of friends. I see a lot of shows at the 9:30 Club & decompress with a meditation / Buddhism book club. I also travel yearly on my own to exotic destinations.
What I’m doing with my life
Loving my career, hiking through new continents, meeting people from all kinds of backgrounds, trying new adventures: paragliding, zip lining upside down, hot air ballooning, snorkeling w/sharks, cave-diving, etc.
I’m really good at
Speaking candidly, making people laugh and feel comfortable.

Most of my friends and colleagues would say there's never a dull moment I'm around.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, voice, high energy and that I look a decade younger.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
All of the experiences that shaped who I am today, social justice, current events and politics.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to keep in touch with the friends I've made over 15 years here in D.C. Other Friday nights I'm a guest on a radio talk show - talking politics with a former boss, or out watching friends do stand-up comedy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know less about my own religion than people of other faiths (I'm Jewish by birth but agnostic in practice).
You should message me if
You're an open communicator, looking for a connection to develop over time and open to having kids. You're brave enough to meet in person, rather than writing back-and forth like avatars. Bonus points if you'd like to do something other than grab a drink!
