My self-summary
Neuroscientist turned education, science, technology, energy and climate policy strategist who likes art, science, food, adventure and travel.

My key attributes are that I'm funny (subjective), intelligent (some quantitative proof available for those requiring references) ambitious, adventurous, financially secure, compassionate, generous and caring.

Currently, I split my time between DC, NY (NYC), PA (PGH), Texas (San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, South Texas) and random European cities (when I can), but I live and spend most of my time in DC.
What I’m doing with my life
I recently started my own company, which is something I've wanted to do for a while and it's now a reality. I work on hypothesis and data driven science, technology, energy and innovation policy.

I feel pretty lucky to be able to do things that have the potential to significantly impact the world and help people. This by no means was ever a sure thing. I didn't grow up with much, so to me everything is still pretty amazing, and constantly pinch myself that I'm doing what I'm doing. I still internally, mentally giggle when I tell people that I'm a neuroscientist.

I've discovered a protein, founded an art organization, discovered a novel potential disease process for a rare childhood disease, contributed to international science education and climate policy, visited other countries nearing the double digits, started a scholarship fund, and now my own company. I'm not saying these things to brag, only to point out that I'm constantly trying to hit way above my weight, and always wanting to do more, because there is no way that I'm here today if I didn't. A tribute to good mothering for sure :)

So now I want to find someone to marvel at the world with, or criticize it..that can be cathartic fun too.

There's a lot of fun stuff to do here, and at the very basic level, I'm just looking for someone to do some fun stuff with, and get to know better in the process.

Also good:

If you are a person of substance that is challenging, and likes to be challenged.

If you are a kind person that is capable of empathy, and is also ambitious, witty and charming.

If you are an amazing, capable, independent, and cute woman.

You'll try anything once in the pursuit of having a good time and new experiences.
