My self-summary
My time is short on cultural things like museums, plays, and monuments and way too long on bars and lounges. In my defense though, spend a lot of time on the tennis court and on the jogging path. Classical music fan so I get over to Carnegie Hall and Lincoln center. Big on Japanese cuisine, and I love restaurant-hopping around the city.
What I’m doing with my life
Working. Playing. Trying to craft clever dialogue on this thing. Trying to stay in shape. Playing the piano (classical mostly) but trying to add some popular stuff to the repertoire. Messing around the electric guitar now - fun, but a lot harder than I thought it would be. Makes nice-looking furniture in case it does work out.
I’m really good at
Being humble.
Being empathetic.
Artfully writing texts in which the tone is unambiguous.
Never missing a friend's birthday.
NEVER going out my way to be cruel to anyone - kindness and compassion rank extremely highly in my book
The first things people usually notice about me
In the digital space, first and foremost, that my profile needs serious help - working on it, though. Could use a consultant. Any takers ? That I'm easier to maintain than most tropical fish.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Hard-pressed to choose favorites....
Six things I could never do without
Close friends and family, sense of humor, intellect, questions like this.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
A much less serious note: pondering which is more awkward - running into semi-acquaintances in the street or more familiar people on here? Tough to know exactly what to say either way !
On a typical Friday night I am
I am usually out in the city having drinks with friends....bourbon and whiskey is usually the poison but I'm finding Tito's makes much a better next day.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ironic question Well, between you, me, and other countless numbers of onlookers (hopefully), that I have an unnatural fear of unglazed pottery. It's like being around emery boards, the texture makes me cringe.
You should message me if
You have a sense of humor, love to laugh, are kind, and think we'd get along.
