My self-summary
Opening note: I'm also very much interested in making new friends here, so if you feel we might be pretty compatible friends, feel free to shoot me a message!

Hello there! I'm an aspiring illustrator here to see what kind of interesting (maybe even a little bit eccentric) people I can meet here. :)
What I’m doing with my life
My ultimate dream would be to become either a 3D modeler or character concept artist in the game industry. I was always fascinated by the idea of breathing life into characters/creatures from my own mind for others to experience, and in such a fashion that they would be able to take control of them and interact with various other ideas in a completely imaginary world. It's definitely a tough field to get into, but I'm still keeping at it. Currently, I'm looking into networking and submitting my portfolio around to various game studios in hopes of being hired for the aforementioned positions. In the meantime, I'm working another job that pay the bills, and am hoping to start selling some of my work at my friend's gallery on the side.
I’m really good at
- Drawing. As far as talents go, drawing is by far my strongest skill. I can also paint, but that may be a distant second, haha.

- Being there for my friends when they want/need someone to talk to. Even if I can't necessarily help you solve the problem (depending on the situation), I am always more than willing to help out my friends and listen to what you have to say.

- Coming up with insane ideas for amusement's sake.

- I guess I'll also add that I'm really good at just being myself. I consider myself to be a genuine and fair human being, and you won't see me attempting to be someone I am not.
The first things people usually notice about me
To be honest, I'm completely oblivious to this one. Someone will have to tell me one of these days haha.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: The Winery Dogs, Richie Kotzen, GnR, Stone Temple Pilots, Lenny Kravitz, The Black Keys, Muse, etc.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
life. I'll admit I have a habit of analyzing and sometimes over-analyzing things - must be some obsession with trying to figure certain things out. I consider myself to be very open-minded and am willing to hear what other people have to say, taking a look at the reasons for our differences in opinions.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sadly I work late shifts as of right now, that most of my fun/hangouts happen over the weekend.

While we're at it (and not necessarily on Fridays) some activities I enjoy are: billiards, kayaking, paddleboarding, indoor rock climbing, bowling, eating out, movies, relaxing and listening to music, amusement parks (Six Flags/Knott's/Disney, you name it!) sketching down new ideas/concepts that come to me, video games, and card/board games (especially "BANG!" and "King of Tokyo" ). This isn't to say I'm bound to these activities and that I'm uninterested in trying new things, but they're usually what you'll find me doing. Have also really been wanting to start having spontaneous city exploration days (anything outside where I live) over the weekend. Thinking that'd be a lot of fun!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a sucker for romance. When I can find an excuse to do so, I love coming up with romantic surprises for that special someone. I also thoroughly enjoy doing creative things for my closest friends. I'm a believer in the idea that the most flattering gifts are homemade, as you can customize them to celebrate the individual you're making them for.
You should message me if
there's any interest on your part, or if anything needs to be answered! I'd be happy to answer them and talk to you. :) Again, always interested in making new friends as well!
