My self-summary
I’m a hard guy to peg. At first glance, you might take me for the cool, strong, type. When we speak, you’d realize that I’m introspective, soft-spoken, respectful, gentlemanly and even a touch nerdy. If you dig deeper you’ll discover an original spirit, fiercely independent, intellence and circumspect wisdom. You won’t escape the impression that I’m a caring and empathetic soul who is genuinely interested in what makes you tick. In time, you'll discover I'm reserved and guarded at the very deepest levels. Sometimes I'm a little too honest for my own good.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m happy keeping it low-key these days, preferring casual hikes with my handsome doggies to scaling sheer rock walls. I keep my mind fed reading various genres of non-fiction, and my soul in shape laying down thumping grooves on my bass guitar. I did a lot of travelling in years past, visiting over 30 countries and 43 states, and have lots of stories to tell. Lately, I prefer road-tripping the beautiful west coast and deserts of the US of A.

What I'm hoping to find is a fun casual friend of the very female persuasion, someone who stimulates my mind and body and with whom I feel comfortable showing my wild side. There is a lot of under-realized potential there. Not looking for notches, and but would prefer to click with someone and build on that.
I’m really good at
Creative problem-solving, coming up with plausible explanations, armchair vocational counseling, writing crit, seeing the big picture, watching crowds, walking through spider webs, finding a driving and funky bass groove, and pleasing my woman.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height of course. I’m well proportioned, so I’m even taller than I appear at first – surprising some people once they’re standing next to me.

I was recently referred to as, "The tall guy with the hair." I've also been told several times I look like a cross between Jason Segel and Tim Robbins.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Yes, no, yes, and yes.

Frankly, I seldom read this part of the profile. It doesn't matter to me whether or not we watch the same shows or eat the same food. If we do, then we share our love. If not, then it's a great opportunity to discover new things. Either way, something to talk about, right?
Six things I could never do without
1. life
2. liberty
3. pursuit of happiness
4. freedom of expression
5. right to privacy
6. breakfast sandwiches
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What brand of toothpaste I should be using and whether to order Coke or Pepsi.

Will I ever one day share a safe word with someone.
On a typical Friday night I am
Challenging assumptions, fighting conventional wisdom, subverting the dominant paradigm, catching a local band somewhere
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Warning, NSFW:

I’m into exciting, energetic, dirty, nasty, daring, sweaty, animal, joyful sex. If it’s not going to be great, I’m not going to be interested. If you are coy or fearful or insecure about your sexuality, we probably won’t hit it off.

Oh, and I've also performed in a couple of cam-shows with a former partner.
You should message me if
You're cute and feminine and smart. If you're looking for an interesting, fun guy for some good times and good conversation - and not interested in finding "the one" - message me and we'll see how it goes.
