I would love to meet you. I am Jewish male, single, a non-smoker, and available. My name is Bob. I am currently living in West Orange, New Jersey. As I am retired and do not have a lease on my abode I am free to move almost anywhere for the right woman.
If you do not have a car, you may perhaps live in NYC, there are buses and trains to lots of nice places, like Denville, New Jersey where I like to dine, West Orange, New Jersey where I live...but that's for later if we are a match...Maplewood, New Jersey where I also like to dine, Livingston, New Jersey where I also like to dine...etc. so please do not feel left out if you do not have a car. I do. And we can still meet at some nice restaurant in any of a number of nice New Jersey towns. What is out of course is my going to NYC. I just can't find a place to park there. I know that may sound strange to someone who does not have a car, as most people in Manhattan get along well without cars, but it is a very different world out here in New Jersey, we go everywhere in our cars.

you must be a non-smoker. Smoking is a deal breaker. I have gray hair and a gray beard and am wearing a light blue shirt in this photo. If you need more photos first please let me know what email address to send them to you at.
Next, suppose you do not feel like it is worth it to meet me one on one at some nice restaurant or bookstore cafe. OK, I can understand that. So here is Plan B. Let me know about some event you might be going to. Maybe a meetup....
( please see http://www.meetup.com) there are all sorts of groups that meet socially at events all the time.
Or some other event. Let me know where you will be and I will try to meet you at that event. If you are going to that event anyway it is only an added benefit to meet me at it, assuming that we are fortunate and there is chemistry between us. But we will never know that until we meet. So let us find some workaround to actually meet one another in person. For me the question goes way beyond the logistics of a first meeting. I have lived in Manhattan in the past and can never visualize myself living there again. If you are tied to the city you should know that many people commute to it from New Jersey. If you cannot visualize yourself meeting me in New Jersey there really is no hope at all for you visualizing yourself moving to New Jersey if we had the right chemistry between us. So it is a question of how tied to living in Manhattan you are or how free from living in Manhattan you might become. The old joke about freedom from attachment or finding freedom from non-attachment might apply here. I am free from non-attachment to trees and all the rest of what I have here in New Jersey, including nice free wild animals in the woods outside my back windows and a great view of Manhattan from my windows when the leaves are off the trees... the best of both worlds but the acid test for anyone who now lives in Manhattan at least for me is whether she is willing to meet me in New Jersey...if not I can't imagine that she would move to New Jersey if the chemistry were right between us because she would just be so tied to Manhattan that she could not even meet me in New Jersey, let alone move to New Jersey if things worked out that way between us.
