My self-summary
I'm an Ann Arbor native, but I've spent some time living in Dublin, Nijmegen, Miami, St. Paul, and Erie of all places. I tried my hand at academia but was miserable, and so now I work in digital marketing, politics, consulting, and tech. I love exploring small patches of wilderness with my beagle, though I'm equally disposed to staying at home with a good book. I watch more shows than I'm willing to admit.
What I’m doing with my life
I run a small digital agency and consultancy that works with a lot of progressive nonprofits and labor organizations. I'm passionate about using design and technology to make real social impacts at the organizational, political and cultural levels. I think and write quite a bit about the role of labor in a just 21st century global economy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm quite tall.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Philosophically I cut my teeth on Habermas, Honneth, Fraser, Taylor, Nietzsche, Freud, Marx and Wilber. I like Eduardo Galeano, Martin Amis, Thomas Pynchon, and Proust. I try to be somewhat literate in the hard sciences and enjoy reading about the Higgs, M-theory, and the multiverse.

I listen to a lot of Beach House and Radiohead, Debussy and Chopin, Oscar Peterson and Ahmad Jamal, Rokia Troare and Tinariwen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Building a grand system of postmetaphycial philosophy.
