I'm also really good with kids. I've worked around them for a while and I've enjoyed it a lot. I have my teaching certification here in Florida, but haven't had the chance to use it as a full time job yet.
I'm probably the most "mellow" or laid back person that you'll ever meet. I rarely get noticeably upset (sad or mad) about anything and even if I did it's usually not easy to tell.
I have a great sense of humor. I spend a good amount of my time trying to use it to make people around me more comfortable and to just keep the mood positive. I don't like the idea of being unhappy all the time so I make an effort to keep things light when I can.
I'm a pretty smart guy and that can show sometimes, but I'm definitely not in your face about it. I don't go around correcting the grammar of everyone around me.
I'm also pretty nerdy with my interests sometimes. I love sports, but I equally like technology and the like.
I'll read just about anything (except for the whole Twilight business). I like to read military books like American Sniper and No Easy Day. I like history and autobiographies too sometimes. Although my hands down favorite book series has been George R.R. Martin's series (A Song of Ice and Fire) and it pretty much has taken over m free time ever since I started it.
I love all movies, although I don't have any idea what's going on in some modern independent films but I try to make it through.
I listen to all kinds of music, my iPod is a mess. It's all over the place really. It goes from Bon Iver, City and Colour to the Blues Brothers, Ray Charles to Jack White ...there's even some Tupac and Biggie in there.
As for food, I'll try anything once. I'm not big on sushi and I could definitely NOT survive on a vegan diet. I like meat.
TV Shows... I'm pretty much addicted to all things travel-related like No Reservations, Bizarre Foods, House Hunters International and the list goes on... But I also like shows like NCIS, Criminal Minds, and The Walking Dead. Also, I'm addicted to Game of Thrones and watch every episode regularly.
On one hand, I'm very happy with what I've accomplished so far and I like having career-minded, ambitious goals like law school and becoming a lawyer. I want to be stable and not live from paycheck to paycheck.
However, I really envy the people that spend this time of their lives taking semesters abroad in places all around the world. Or those people that can just up and leave everything and drive out to California or some place and just see what happens.
