My self-summary
I make people smile, I have a really stupid sense of humor, and there's never a dull moment whenever I'm around. I love music from almost any genre, can't survive without it, but the 90's are my decade of choice. You may never meet a bigger nerd in your life (and I say that with pride).

So, I realized that I have been laser-focused on my career recently, to the exclusion of almost everything else. I'm looking to change that, starting by meeting some cool new people. Who has time to take themselves too seriously?

I am bears, beets, and Battlestar Galactica.
What I’m doing with my life
Aside from my marketing 9-to-5 (more like 8:30-to-6-or-even-7-some-days)? Unfortunately, my childhood dream of being an astronaut superhero doesn't look like it's coming to pass anytime soon.

My current aspiration is to become Regional Manager of Dunder-Mifflin Scranton. I'll settle for Assistant Regional Manager if necessary. Or Assistant TO the Regional Manager. I'd even settle for becoming the next Duke Silver, serenading the women of Pawnee with my smooth saxophone sounds.
I’m really good at
...video games, random trivia questions (I know more about one-hit wonders than anyone really should), and making people laugh. I am also very very good at hitting every single red light when I am in a hurry to get somewhere.

Looking for a particularly offensive game of Cards Against Humanity? I'm your man.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height. (I'm 6'2''.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I used to have a long, boring list here. I decided to cut it down to a few sentences to save something for discussion later. I will say that I don't know why I keep getting matched up with artsy-fartsy hipster types who write out every single obscure band they know, because I'm not pretentious enough to "get" indie rock.

Parks and Recreation, Bob's Burgers, video games, gummy bears, Foo Fighters (my favorite band), the Beatles ("Hey Jude" is my favorite song) and everything about the 90's: these are a few of my favorite things. Also I am a Philadelphia sports fan until the day I die.

Update: recent television obsessions include Raising Hope on Netflix (hilarious) and Hannibal (even though those jerks at NBC canceled it already).
The six things I could never do without
Podcasts and books for the train to work every day, my cell phone, gummy bears, a sunny sky above my head and an open road stretching into the horizon.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think a lot about how to move on to the next stage of my life, if anyone else is a hopeless romantic anymore, and what it means to be an adult, but I still leave plenty of room in my brain for football and baseball stats and the name of the guy who played Billy in "Predator."

Lately I've been wondering why OKCupid keeps suggesting women from NYC. Nothing against New York, but that's quite a hike from the Philadelphia area, guys.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually recovering from a long week. Saturday is my night to go out. I'll dress down or dress up, but I prefer places where you can actually hear the person next to you speak.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I still own two Limp Bizkit albums that I listened to quite a bit as a stupid teenager. Nobody else admits it? I guess I was the one person who bought millions of copies.
You should message me if
...you would have just as much fun walking around a mall (or a neighborhood, etc.) joking and laughing about random things as you would flying around the world. If you have an off-kilter sense of humor, you are witty, assertive and confident and you know the difference between "you're" and "your." Also, if you have an obsession with Foo Fighters, I think we'll get along just fine. Living within a reasonable distance of Philly is nice too.

It would help if you aren't making that weird pouty face while throwing up a gang sign in any of your pictures. Oh, and is your profile a long, nasty list of people you don't want to talk to? Bye.
