I am a connoisseur of many things, from the refined to the questionable. I'm fond of jogging, winter nights, taking long walks, and good conversations. I like going to shows/concerts, watching movies, reading, writing, thinking deep thoughts, and sampling the delights different cultures have to offer. I also enjoy goofing about, video games, people watching, and many other things that are basically delicious wastes of time.
Movies: A serious love. Here's a short list for my admiring public - Many of the following I either love or have some sort of bias for- About a Boy, Blow, The Fifth Element, Last of the Mohicans, The Crow, Ghost World, Trainspotting, Disturbing Behavior (I'm not professing quality..), Chasing Amy, A Clockwork Orange, Anything by the Coen Brothers, Casablanca, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Platoon, The Corporation, The Craft, blah.. and many more. If a movie has a sci fi, fantasy, horror, or supernatural component I'm probably game.
TV: Community, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Daily Show, Colbert Report, True Blood(I'm not proud), and plenty of others. I'm pretty inconsistent with this addictive and deadly substance.
Music : A little of everything. The world is full of sirens. T.I.N.C. (The International Noise Conspiracy), and Pain(if you know who this is, talk to me. You passed the test). Other amusements include greenday, the coup, lords of acid, the offspring, billy bragg, randy, weird al, Phil Ochs, against me, everclear, social distortion, weakerthans, pine hill haints, flat broke folk, Neil Young, much o the classic rock, ghost mice, this bike is a pipe bomb, Refused, a lot of sound tracks, anything has the potential to inpsire, so much more..
Books: Catcher in the Rye, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Homage to Catalonia (much Orwell), Christopher Hedges, How I became Stupid, Scifi pulp, Revolution in Everyday Life, Calvin and Hobbes, much by Noam Chomsky, and a few others that are less catchy or don't come immediately to mind.
