My self-summary
Hey there, handsome! Let's hit the basics first: I've been in Marietta since 2012. I have a 10 year old son. I work a full time job in the IT industry. I'm happy with my life, but would like a strong partner.

More interesting stuff: I like to ride my bike (slow, but far), training for some upcoming races (10k and half-marathon), love hiking and really enjoy being outdoors in general. I stay active, but also enjoy laying in a hammock or lounging poolside. I love to travel. I've been vegetarian/vegan for over half my life and it works for me, but I don't force my beliefs on others. The taste of dry, white wines makes me happy. I'm a sporty girl - Chicago Bears & New York Yankees are my teams. I will bandwagon ATL teams during a good season, but I support my home teams hands down cuz I'm a Michigan girl at heart.

There are a few deal-breakers: I'm staunchly against smoking and dating married men. Actually, the men I don't mind -- it's the wives that drive me crazy. (Thanks, but no thanks). There are others, but you'll know if you're hitting them. Men always know. Start by saying more than "HI." Just a "Hi" does not merit a response.

So to sum myself up: I'm a multi-racial, health minded girl with an open mind, an easy laugh and a slightly inappropriate sense of humor. I'm open to meeting men from all races and ethnicities. I'm looking for friendship first - it takes time to build intimacy and trust.

Ideally, I'd find a local guy who wants to catch a concert at Chastain, a Braves game, a fair/festival or go on some other adventure. I'm attracted to men who are intelligent, quick-witted and have an appetite for exploration and fun. I am especially attracted to really smart, semi-shy, nerdy types. Men who are smarter than me pique my interest. Tall, funny men who are smarter than me sweep me off my feet! Trust me, if I'm interested, I'll find time to get together.
What I’m doing with my life
In my spare time, I dance, paint, go to street festivals, see live music and explore new and different cuisines. I am getting back into weight lifting and thinking about trying crossfit for some stupid reason. I love to travel but don't get away nearly enough.
I’m really good at
I know some pretty decent life hacks. Nothing overwhelms me, and if it does, I project plan my way out of it. :-) Things typically fall my way, though I don't know if it's luck or karma.
The first things people usually notice about me
People usually notice that I am always smiling. I'm a positive person who looks at the glass half full and sees the silver lining even on the bleakest days. Either that or my big, brown doe eyes.

On a typical Friday night I am
There is no typical Friday night. I could be in bed enjoying a movie with a bowl of snacks, out with friends, chatting up interesting people at a bar... I'm footloose and fancy free!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Although I admit to having a schoolgirl crush on Batman (The Animated Series) my biggest fictional crush is Atticus Finch. I almost named my son "Atticus," but wasn't certain how that would play out in 2005 and beyond. One day my boy will thank me.
You should message me if
You should message me if you are able to handle a quick witted, pretty lil brown skinned girl with a slight attitude, an inappropriate sense of humor and a zest for life.
