I am very close to my extended family. I have 3 nieces and 5 nephews all under 15, and I try to stay involved in their lives. I am an engineer. I like to travel, and am a football fan. I coach little kids in flag football. I have two dogs. I am honest; sometimes even to a flaw, and generally think I am a good person.
Thinking outside the box
Enjoying and appreciating the little things, and not taking anything good for granted.
Update: Game of Thrones is now officially my single favorite show. I just started watching it earlier this year. I really liked Stranger Things as well.
I don't really read recreational, except articles. I know. Kind of a big turn off. But its the truth.
I don't listen to music as much as I used to. And recently have been finding myself a lot more out-of-the-loop with new music. I do like a lot of different types of music. Although I tend to enjoy high energy music. I do listen to a lot of podcasts.
And I like a lot of different foods. Probably too much. I certainly like to try new foods and different restaurants. I do not cook a ton, but do dabble a little.
Food - Sustenance. Food is so much more than just sustenance in my lifestyle. But really that is all that I truly need of it.
Earth - My home in the universe, but also on a more micro level, I need a small spot of it to live on.
Air - Not just to breath, but also the space to rise above the earth itself.
Thought - Experiences, and the ability to recognize them and interact with them.
Community/Humanity - Lets face it, I am not doing this alone. If we didn't have each other, I think life would be unbearable.
What is the meaning of life, and how to obtain happiness.
Also smaller things like future vacation/travel plans, what series on Netflix I should start next, how my football teams I root for are doing, coaching next year for flag football, what all I have going on this weekend, the weather, what work I should have done on my house next, investing in property, my job, how soon I can retire, what I will do once I do retire, where different people I care about will be 10-15 years from now, being grateful for all I have, wondering how I can make a positive difference in someone else life.... and bacon.
I will kind of throw one caveat in here. If you need to find a partner that is Christian, or any other specific religious beliefs; I am probably not your guy. Past experience on here makes me feel like I need to be very up-front with this. I will respect your religious beliefs whatever they are. But I will need you to respect mine as well. They are very important to me.
And if you don't message me, I still want to thank you for taking the time to read this. And I really do hope you find what you are looking for.
